A lot of family time this weekend hampered my game but I'm trying to catch up on visits now. One of my frustrating moments was trying to set Willy on a snake wrestle while my phone was on the charger and mis-swiping him into a 12-hour 5-snake venom task instead. A potential seven-snake loss, and that happened not long after I'd calculated that it was better to keep him on the one-snake wrestle overnight rather than switching to the venom. Now he wants to rake leaves for 24 hours but I'm not letting him.

I'm now past 11,000, and I'm going to try to avoid doing any trades on Monday--if I can get 500 on my own, then I'll be on pace for 12.5K by the end of day Wednesday. If that doesn't happen, then I'll be back on the trade market Tuesday. But the other good thing is that if I'm desperate, I could be within shouting distance of purchasing the motel with donuts (started out at 250 required, now at 145). I'd love to be able to be in the position at the end of just handing out eggs to people who are close!

Do the stump and log do anything different than the rock, i.e. every set number of hours, spit out a set number of snakes?

Yeah, vandalizing earns you and them dollars and experience points, though there are advantages to doing other things as well, like tapping on their houses and businesses. The best thing during Whacking Day is tapping on the rocks/stumps/logs, I believe (if maximum snakes is the goal, which it will most likely be unless someone has already achieved everything).

Rock - 40 donut cost, hatches 10 snakes every four hours
Stump - 55 donut cost, hatches 20 snakes every four hours
Trunk - 75 donut cost, hatches 30 snakes every four hours

I splurged on the stump when I had 75 donuts available because I wanted more than the rock, but I didn't want to spend everything. At times I've wished I got the trunk since I'm still sitting on 20 donuts that have minimal use for snake whacking, but I'm hoping it will all work out in the end.

Dropped 50 eggs on seattlecub this afternoon.

No need to give any back, my fingers are raw from tap tap tapping on these stupid snakes. I soon will have to find other appendages to tap the snakes with.

I was in a meeting for most of the evening but during a break in the action figured I could drop in and refresh my rock and stump, if nothing else. Imagine my surprise when I got the Homer opening animation and the opening tutorial.

Fortunately I rebooted my phone and was then allowed to sign in to Origin and recovered my town. And even more fortunately, someone had already tapped my rock and stump, giving me a three-hour headstart over where I would have tapped them myself. Thanks, anonymous benefactor! What a neighbor-eeno!
