Read a few articles and readers replies over at Gamespot and gameinformer of MS presentation....not exactlly impressed. Basically saying nothing really ground breaking or highlighting the console. They said it was more of rehash of sequels with more eye candy. It's almost Sony's PS4 to take E3 crown for the taking.
I'll hold off till I see both presentations completely and hear more details of the systems of what you can and cannot do.

Damn, I just realized that there's no mention of a new headset/mic coming with the new system. I'd rather remove the HDMI and include a headset as cables are like $3 and the headset will be at least $20.

How was it a rehash of sequels? Most of it was new IP's?!

That was mentioned awhile back. No headset. They want you to shout at Kinect and have your bros coming through your stereo speakers.

Pre-order done. I'll still need to get a second controller though. Titanfall looks great, that's a system seller game. I'm a little burned out on fighting games but I might have to bite on KI.
Anyone else think the new Max OSx Mavericks logo looks similar to Xbox?

For those planning to buy the Xbox One on launch day, do you think you will have the money to buy a lot of new games right away?
I would be hard pressed money-wise to spend $499 for a new console and buy 3-4 new games right away for $60 a pop.
Are you going to lock up your 360 and throw it in the closet? Or will you still use it?
I'd rather not put the stuff on the credit card and put myself into major debt for a video game console. Which I hope you guys don't plan to do.

I sold an extra Xbox 360, PS3 60gb and a bunch of old games/controllers a while back, got over $500 credit so my system is paid for. I'll probably get 2-3 games...Watch Dogs and maybe BF4. Possibly even that MMO game but I doubt that's launch.

I plan to set aside some scratch between now and then to get it and a game at launch.
Kind of bugs me though that the headset isn't included since that was something I loved about the previous gen - everyone could communicate if they wanted. Also, Kinect voice is terrible due to not being able to easily mute it and such.

PS4 is $100.00 cheaper, allows you to trade games freely, and doesn't require an online connection. Your move, Microsoft.

Come next year, both systems will still have the same amount of sales. Internet forums and gaming websites have no influence over actual sales. Sure, the buzz on the internet is "game over, Sony wins" but I bet MS still sells more XBOX by Xmas.

Unless there are supply constraints, I can't imagine the One will match the PS4 in sales.
But it can't be as bad as the Wii U.

Does your current employer know you're shadowing for their main competitor?

Uh yeah, I've been an xbox guy for the last decade and there's no way they outsell Sony this Christmas.

I'm sure both consoles will have huge supply issues.
