The perks of knowing someone who works at Microsoft. I wasn't interested in the Day One 2013 console exclusives, but I just got them pre-ordered for $97.29 after tax.

Yes, that's for Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, and Ryse. :)

Honestly, I don't know if I should open them or wait and see if they are in fact limited so I can sell them later on. :lol:

$30+ for each game from a MS employee? That's a terrible discount. Sony games are free-$10 and I got Diablo from Blizzard for $10 on PC and $15 on Xbox. I even though being offered CoD Ghosts on X1 for $20 was too high lol.

I hope it's not too soon, but for the ones getting the Xbox One on release date, what games are you going to play that day?

Right now I only have FIFA. If I can force myself to continue/finish AC3, I may get AC4. If I ran out of options I may try COD and/or DR3.

So far I have Forza 5 LE and Battlefield 4 preordered. Now, depending on the reviews for BF4, that might end up changing (but I hope not). I'll pick up DR3 eventually, but don't need it right away. Ryse is a rental at best. This is also the first year since COD2 that I'm skipping out on a COD release. Curiosity will probably end up getting the best of me and I'll end up renting that one as well.

To be clear, I wasn't knocking your deal or anything. You pretty much got a free game. I was just surprised at MS emoployees shitty discount. Is it a MS Store employee? That might explain it.

I have DR3 paid off. I also stocked up on about $50 in live points/$ to get Peggle 2 and Killer Instinct. I'll borrow Ryse and CoD from my neighbor :)

Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and Forza are coming with my preorder. And I'll probably download Crimson Dragon and Peggle 2 depending on if the cloud is working.

Dead Rising 3 and Forza are coming with my preorder. I'm sure I'll at least sample Killer Instinct, and Crimson Dragon looks like a lock for me, but I might not play those on day one just 'cause I'll have those other two handy.

right now, i don't have Dead Rising 3 preordered, but I will once I get my $10 credit from Batman Amazon preorder. That's really the only launch game that looks remotely interesting to me, now that Watch Dogs has been pushed back.

Peggle 2 and PvZ: Garden Warfare are the biggest regrets I have for not getting an X1.

I think they're only timed exclusives though. You'll get them on your relevant mobile device and/or master race machines before the end of 2014.

I am getting Ghosts at launch.

I hope to Redbox Ryse if it shows up and from there I will just be awaiting some XBLA games. Hopefully they have some good stuff lined up.

I would flip if the Wolf Among Us would be one of the releases.
