Got a little bit done last night with the daily and that level 28 thing that gives bonus XP for the week. A couple of friends from GAF drug me through, and although I was disappointed when they both got exotic guns and I got a legendary, I was glad that legendary was a void fusion rifle.

Remember that you can use the vault at the Tower to share items between characters. You can't share armor between classes, but weapons are fair game. Also, you can pool your coins together through sharing, same with Mote of Light. That way you have enough to buy things from Xur. I think Xur's Exotic engram is 23 or 25 Mote Of Light. Xur's exotic weapon is 23 Strange Coins, while his Exotic Armor is 13 Coins each.
The only currency you can't share are the Crucible and Vanguard Marks. So depending on what Xur offers this weekend, you could by a piece of exotic armor for each character, or the weapon for one of them at a time (just remember to put it in the vault if you want to use it for both characters). I really don't know the differences on the Exotic vs Legendary items in terms of which I should shoot for...like a Helmet or a certain type of gun. I've got enough coins to either get two armor pcs or try and shoot for a good gun. But now I picked up the Exotic Auto Rifle...Hard Light... I'm trying to figure which way to go. that's one reason why I'm glad I've got all three characters going. Both Titan & Warlock are 25 and are picking up good items now and I can move the stuff between them. My Level 12 hunter is set from now till whenever due to moving all the lower level Rare to him. I've never been below 22,000 Glimmer and have plenty of resources for now...like 120+ Helium for each character. |

Remember that Xur, the special vendor for Exotics, is in the Tower today and tomorrow. This time he has an exotic helmet for Titans, exotic helmet for Hunters, and exotic gauntlets for Warlocks (the same ones he has already had 3 out of the 4 times he has been there...WTF Bungie?). Those all cost 13 Strange Coins each. He also offers Red Death, an exotic pulse rifle, for 23 Strange Coins.
You can buy an exotic engram from him for 23 Motes of Light, which is guaranteed to decrypt as an exotic item (but class is not guaranteed). This week it's a helmet. |

Lame. Maybe I'll get the Sunbreakers, since that subclass seems so useful in high level content...and they seem to really want me to have them.
And maybe I'll get an engram. With my shit luck, it will probably turn out to be for a hunter. |

I got a Titan helmet from the engram. Not the sexy one that's up for sale, but not bad either except for the fact that it's not my main class. Xur apparently hates Warlocks. Last week's engram gave me a Hunter helmet.

I have a legendary armor piece and have maxed out the upgrade option I just need lots of that bullshit ingredient to actually add the upgrades into the green selection circles. It won't let as is. I forget the name of the ingredient.

I bought the engram from Xur and got a badass helmet for my warlock, so it worked out good. Also bought the exotic pulse rifle since I had 49 strange coins, even though I already have Bad Juju which is also an exotic pulse rifle. I don't even like using pulse rifles... but now I have two exotic ones. -screwy-
I wish I had this surplus of money last week. I could really use that SUROS rifle he was selling. I have a lot of armor that gives boosts to auto rifles. |
