I did a little IB Sunday and Monday to get to rank 5. Part of my rank 5 rewards...Hebriden Thoughtcrime. Finally!

I forgot to mention, I finally logged on over the weekend and grabbed my Triumphs for year two. Only one completion though for finishing the Taken King . Pretty sure I won't finish the other eight or so before time runs out.

But I also got a bunch of packages with some armor that you can put some shiny bits in. It looked like the armor level was pretty low though, like around 3. Was that more of a joke thing or were people using it?

Infusion works differently now. If you infuse that level 3 armor with a 335 armor it will jump all the way up to 335.

Yeah, you'd have to put in WAY more time than you ever would to do it. Just completing a subclass would probably be too time consuming at this point, doable, but time consuming. That doesn't even cover the crucible requirements, doing the raid challenge mode 3 weeks straight, etc.

I think I am the only one how runs it now with any regularity. I've been using an app to find raids. the 100.

BTW finished the Mountaintop and Got my exotic sword. Got all my Moments finished.

Just a little over 3 weeks to go! I've already told my wife what to expect on the 20th. Just blows that it won't go live until 1pm ET. I just hope the new Raid is a lot of fun. If anyone is taking off or will be around that day I'd be down for running the story together.

Any new info no the above? My kid wants to pre-order Rise Of Iron and I know nothing about this game but want to get him the best deal possible (plus if there are any extras to pre-order at a certain place, please mention those as well). He plays on the Xbox One.

We did something similar at Gamestop when he traded in his old Destiny and got the Legendary Edition that included The Taken King.

I told him to wait on pre-ordering thru his X1 for now.

I'm really wanting to get back in to the game before the 20th, but my PS4 is packed away in one box and my copy of the game in packed somewhere else. Basically, my point is moving sucks.

That sucks. That's one reason why I'm glad all my destiny purchases have been digital. I actually considered deleting a character yet again and starting over for the hell of it. I think instead I'll just go the route of running through all the campaigns with an existing character.

I'd love one weekend before it drops if we can run the old raids just for the fun of it.
