So the Cosmodrome will have some slightly new places to go...or more specifically formally inaccessible places are now accessible.

Snow is everywhere. Winter has come. In the Divide, the WALKER IS DEAD!!! No more walker event there. Instead, the dead walker stands as a trophy to many kills. A Warsat now drops in the area instead.

Looks like the Hive and Taken have been completely wiped out of the Cosmodrome. The new fallen splicers are everywhere. Could be a reflection of the test build they're using.

You know what, some people don't like shooting other people in PVP! They gonna go and change that?

The R in SRL is RACING!!! If you don't like RACING, go play something else while the rest of us, who fucking loved the RACING can fucking enjoy it!

The great things about SRL were that the races were rather short, and it didn't really matter if you won or not. Plus, the drops were awesome compared to the rest of the game. It's great to see it's coming back, but I really hope they didn't fuck everything up to please the 5 or 6 people who complained.

Relief is coming!

This is one of the new vendors in Felwinter's Peak, and if you notice he's selling weapon parts and armor materials. No word on how much they will cost yet, but one of the worst stumbling blocks to progression is finally being corrected. Perhaps a Tower vendor will have them as well.

Also, this dude is wearing a Lucky Raspberry.

It looks like they're not adding any more vault space for ROI. On the good side, I could get rid of my old IB gear possibly. Hopefully the engram is a smart one and doesn't give me the same helmet 3 times.

Also found out that the Plaguelands are just connected with the Cosmodrome, which means we're not getting an updated Cosmodrome and Plaguelands areas, they're one in the same.

IB Clash starts next Tues (seems like it happens more often but that may just be a side effect of not playing as much)

start time 2 hours later than normal due to maintenance

rewards are helmet, chest, hand cannon, and shotgun in case anyone seeks infusion fodder still

After checking my weapons Kiosk today I am missing an exotic weapon, it is a year two weapon. I've got a blank space between Hereafter, and the Black Spindle. It's been a while since I played, is this a glitch or am I actually missing a weapon?

Big news just officially unveiled: Rise Of Iron brings private matchmaking to Crucible.

Other stuff from the live feed:

The first Iron Banner with Rise Of Iron will be Supremacy, the new game mode.

You can start a private match by yourself. So if you just want to view the map or make videos or whatever, there you go.

BTW, they showed off some of the ornaments and what they do to various weapons. They're basically skins for weapons. the one they showed for Hawkmoon was pretty sweet.

If they don't change it before release or in a patch, this might be sweet. I just saw a Grimoire progress screen pop up during a private match. Could end up being a real easy way to get the crucible Grimoire wins out of the way.

Supremacy is interesting in that you don't score points from kills, but from collecting the crests of dead bodies.

Private options: Any game mode, any map, score limits, time limits, even time of day on some maps. Loads of options here.

I'm guessing there will be limitations, such as for a mode like Rift. Though it'd be cool if you could play Rift on a map not designed for it (Timekeeper, Asylum, Anomaly, etc.)

You don't need to own Rise Of Iron to have access to Private matches. I'm guessing your options will be limited depending on which expansions you do own.
