OK, so we now know what emotes cost in real money.

For $5, you can buy 500 Silver. 500 Silver will buy you a legendary emote. There are currently 2 legendary emotes, the slow clap, and the Carlton.

Rare emotes are 200 Silver, or $2. Bungie has given all of us 400 Silver, or enough to buy 2 of these, but not even 1 legendary.

Iron Banner:

Saladin has the Class Armor (Rank 3) and Boots (Rank 4) for sale. They are 40 Marks each. For weapons, he has the sidearm (Rank 4) and pulse rifle (Rank 5). 90 marks a piece. The new emblems are also available for 1000 Glimmer. One at Rank 1, and the other at Rank 5. Shaders are also still available for Glimmer.

Are the weapons and armour at 310 Light?

I need to figure out the easiest method to rank 5 in Iron Banner. At least I only need to do it once now.

I'm thinking that's the whole point. They want buying from Xur to be a difficult decision.

It also looks like there is a new PvP map, as there is a new card for it.

I don't think it's going to make much of a difference. I am no longer excited for Xur day as I just use it to buy more three of coins. His crap really should be at least 290.

well if you are 300 his engrams can decode as 310 and if you don't get what you want it can be infused elsewhere

Well I got the next step in The First Curse quest. Ugh.

The gun you have to use sucks. High impact, but awful in every other category.

You have to get a 7 kill streak, not sure if all have to be from the gun as I haven't done it yet. Also, you have to get 7 precision kills with it...in one match. I did complete that, and fortunately it doesn't have to be without dying.

EDIT: It's a 7 kill streak with only the gun kills counting. So yeah, 7 kills with the shit gun without dying. UGH.

This will be the rarest exotic in the game. I might have to wait for a Year 2 Legacy Engram or something.

I feel like this game is taunting me now. I'm up to 289 light and just can't get that last point to be raid ready. I ran two strikes last night and got lower level shit on all my drops.

290 doesn't make you Raid ready. Having the right weapons helps. But just being 290 doesn't magically make you ready to run the raid.

Are you doing the quests? Finishing them? You get a lot of the weapons you need this way, especially a good sniper. If you don't have one, you are not raid ready.

For all intents and purposes, you want to be 300 for the raid, but again, it all depends on your weapons.

OK, slight correction to my First Curse quest.

After trying for hours to get the 7 kill spree in PVP, I finally got 7 kills with the shit gun without dying (surrounded with other kills). Nothing popped.

So I looked it up, and discovered that the 7 kill spree thing is a PVE challenge. You have to kill 7 enemies in quick succession without reloading. Sounds easy, right? Well, the gun only has 6 rounds in the mag. However, it also has triple tap. So I woke up the hive, and got it on my 3rd try.

Yay. So I went back to the Gunsmith, and now I get to wait 1 more week for my First Curse.

EDIT: Got it on my first try with my Warlock.

I hope everyone put in an order for the Suros Rocket Launcher last week because it has the Grenades & Horseshoes perk, which is a must for Crucible.

I did but you could buy a g and h having rocket launcher from Future War Cult.

You only get 2 rockets in Crucible, even with rocket launcher ammo gear. Pretty much useless.

I think most people would prefer to spend a few thousand glimmer as opposed to 150 marks.

both the Gunsmith Suros RL and Vertigo are almost identical stat/spec wise
I did buy a Vertigo weeks ago in anticipation of IB .... have an order waiting for the Suros but may just let it sit

this (the glitch with ammo boosting armor not having an effect on Y2 RLs that hold 2 rockets) is making me reconsider my choice of using "pussy ass rocket launchers" in IB .... I may just switch to MG even though it is not my preference

I've only done a couple quests so far. I'm already a little burned out and I figured grinding quests wasn't going to help with that. I was just trying to get a little higher so I could run the raid once or twice and then hang this one up for awhile since there are a ton of new fall releases.

Ugh, getting 7 headshot kills with that shit gun on my Warlock was not easy. Finally did it in a Rumble match. Near the end I lucked out, one of the players decided to give up, so he just stood there and did the sorrow emote. Headshot #7.

Still nearly won the match with that crappy gun.
