Looks like it's time to dust off my copy of Destiny and play this weekend. According to my Destiny companion at least on my Titan I have 12 strange coins, not sure about the other 2 guardians if they have any. So worse case scenario just have to manage 5 more coins, should not be too hard.

Well...I'm one of those who actually dusted off Destiny to see the impossible....a G-Horn being offered by Xur. I only had one and still close to 100 coins so why not....

I do have to ask about older gear...like Vault of Glass stuff in weapons & armor. Is almost this irrelevant now and not worth holding on to? I have the Atheons, Vision of Confluence, Hezen's, Kabr's and Zealot's armor pieces still. I even saw some items (weapons) that maxed at 300 in my stash. And what about items from Crota's End....any worth keeping still both armor and weapons? Thanks

On Wednesday, Bungie will be having another one of those live feeds where they will discuss the future of our current gear, and how they will stand (or fall) in the light of the new gear coming.

Legendary weapons and armor will not be able to be upgraded to the Taken King levels. You could get some etheric light now to upgrade those 300s to 365, which would give them some value in Taken King...until you get better new weapons.

We don't know yet what the future of the Vault Of Glass and Crota's End are. Will they still be worth running for completely outdated gear? Or do they have something planned to keep those raids relevant?
