It looks like a fun concept trailer. Here's hoping the actual gameplay lives up to the promise.
I'll probably get it on PC. That'll be the closest I'll get to next gen consoles for the time being.

Looks promising. Ever since Sea Dogs II/Pirates of the Caribbean I've been hoping for a good adventure/RPG game in this setting. I hope the devs don't let us down with this one like they did III. It better be more open ended and less story driven. Definitely less animus stuff and just focused on the historical setting. It gets so tiresome how some overarching plot always gets shoehorned into the local narratives, and it makes every game feel kind of similar.

I'm only like two hours into AC3 and this is already coming out in a few months? At least it'll be cheap for the PS4 by the time I buy it.

I haven't played any AC since the first but came close (and probably will) getting the newest. From the impression I'm getting this might be more of a open world...from sea to sea and port to port...for countless possibilites of missions.
While I liked the trailer and look, it seems the main character's attire was a bit out of place with attention to the normal outfit of white. A captain under the "Black Flag" should be more into a bit of darker clothing while keeping the main look. Something likie a Black Hood, black vest with white sleeves or something a bit more pirate looking.

^ The hood needs to go. No doubt about it. They were already pushing it with Connor (who's attire only looked good when he had the damn hood off). On a pirate, it looks downright ridiculous. The rest of the wardrobe is fine. Though they could have easily made the default wardrobe darker. No one complained about Exio's default dark attire in ACR.
Maybe they'll bring back the robust the tailors from ACII and ACB.
