Ubisoft sucks. If it was just the game, I wouldn't care. No excuse for waiting this long to delay when it's a launch bundle with the console. I'll wait for reviews and a price drop on Watch Dogs now.

Sony should step up and work with Amazon and other sellers to strip WD out and offer either a different game or the bare console. Otherwise, I will cancel the pre-order.

I would assume retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and others that offered a PS4 launch bundle with the game will allow customers to choose a different game or just purchase the console by itself.

I'm sure we'll have news on that within the next 24 - 48 hours.

I know consumers hate hearing excuses, but honestly it probably came down to the developers crunching for the last 6 months trying to hit the November date, and realizing that it wasn't going to happen. And if they had to delay past Christmas anyway, might as well give themselves a few more months too.

But yeah, shouldn't be that hard to swap the game for something else or just lower the price to the console alone. I'd hope, anyway.

You mean running on a PC to simulate what it would look like running on a PS4.

I understand game delays, but when it's a launch bundle they should give more notice and make sure everything is sorted out first. Announce the solution up front.

I emailed Amazon. Customer service sent me a message saying that they would fulfill all bundle orders on schedule, leaving out the game.

Amazon US orders are good. You'll still get the console and you don't lose your place in line.

Knack and Warframe (free) are up for pre order on the playstation store. Good time to take advantage of the spend $50 get $10 back. Hopefully they will add more titles.

They don't say. They say that they are "adjusting" orders and will "update" customers when they get more info from the manufacturer.

The PS3 bundle that I got had a standard console box inside a special bundle box. If these PS4 bundles are the same, all they need to do is send that standard box.

So guys, give me a reason to keep my PS4 when it shows up. I'm too far behind on Assassin's Creed to play AC4 right away. I don't care about racing games and the shooters that are available are not enough for me either since I still have the last two CoD sitting unplayed.

So what's left since Watch Dogs is delayed? From what I've read Knack isn't a system seller. No interest in Skylanders either.

Doesn't sound like you need it yet. No need to buy/keep a console if the software doesn't interest you.

Yeah I think I learned my lesson from the Wii U. Bought it last November because I felt a nostalgia for always buying the new Nintendo system at Thanksgiving time, played the new Mario and it's basically sat since then. And of course demand was so low there was no point in selling it.

I'm tempted to just cancel the PS4 pre-order, but I expect I'll know someone who wants one so they can just buy it from me. I don't really think there's going to be some crazy secondary market for it anyway.

LOL! IIRC the Tigers were down a game to Oakland too. Peavy will be just what those bats need to wake up.

That game needed some more time in the oven IMO. Super pretty but a little rough.

If you aren't into driving games, it's potentially not bad news. It will be interesting to see what Sony replaces it with on PS Plus at launch.

Edit: Second thought, I guess they could still give you some kind of DriveClub demo with a partial or full version when the game comes out. Need to announce something quick.
