Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 (or Metal Gear 5olid)

I just watched the 40 minute E3 gameplay demo and this looks so good. Outside of Fallout 4, this is my most anticipated game.

I'm kind of mixed on this. I love MGS series but making it open world feels odd. It looks like it could get repetitive very fast.

That video was really good and I'm excited to play this one. The running is a bit weird, in my opinion.

I'm in. Though Keifer as Snake is still weird as fuck. How were Revengeance and Ground Zeroes? I never heard much about them, though I got my ass kicked in the Revengeance demo.

Ground Zeroes was great. Revengeance was kind of fun but weird.

That last boss though. Fuck that noise.

This games map looks like a 1:1 scale size of the real Afghanastan. Would be amazing if that turned out to be the case.

If Aghanistan was that small...sure.

I dug Ground Zeroes. I'm pretty sure I'm going to love this motherfuckering game too.

I figure there will be a PS4 packaged with this game for sale on Black Friday. I'll pick it up then.

Graphical differences between all the consoles. If I do buy this, it would be for the PS4. The PC version looks beautiful. I also still need to finish Peace Walker.

Wasn't really on my radar since I haven't played any of these since original PS, but that may change.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 (or Metal Gear 5olid)

Yeah, I'm a bit worried about being lost as well. I played through the original MGS when it first came out on the original Playstation. After that, I've only played bits of the others but never finished any of them. My plan is to play through Ground Zeros just to get familiar with the controls, but I don't think I'll be able to follow the story too well.

The funny thing is I've been going through some of my PS3 games and boxing them up for storage, and came across a sealed copy of this. I don't know when I bought it, but since it was a GameStop exclusive, I guess I might have picked it up when they were on clearance or something. I was debating on even opening it up at this point.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 (or Metal Gear 5olid)

The launch trailer was released today. I'm too lazy to link but a bit of a goodbye from Kojima perhaps?
