I like the regular paint jobs better. Most Legendary characters look like lumps of coal. We only purchase them because the in-game stats are different.

Oh you're right, only the LC one is out (sorry, got confused with the acronyms). LightCore/non LightCore always confuse me.

The Swap Force reposes look different than the previous versions of some characters, are they basically the same in the game or do they look different as well?

In Giants the reposes looked the same as the originals in-game. The LC ones have a different look to incorporate the light up gimmick in-game. I've not yet tried any reposes in SF but would expect the same to hold true (Wait... I *did* play with LC Hex in SF and she looks the same other than the glowing dress). The only difference on-screen are those that received a LC "upgrade" with the rest looking just like they did in Spyro's Adventure and Giants. *BUT* the reposes *do* receive extras in the game. They get a ability called "Wow Pow" which is available as a upgrade. While I've not tested this I'm pretty sure those S2 (Giants) reposes will be able to purchase or keep the one they got in Giants for use in SF.

Amazon has had limited stock of the 3 new SF characters this afternoon. I *just* missed getting a copy of Stink Bomb (showed in stock for July 9 but went OOS as I was putting one in my cart). So far I've not seen the new ones appear on Zoolerts...

Amazon also has the Sheep Wreck Island adventure pack with WindUp available to order!

^It shows to be in stock on the 10th with a "order now and we'll deliver when available" but it won't let me put it in my cart! It says it's "no longer available from the vendor you selected...".

Spy Rise was available earlier but on it I got a message that it couldn't be delivered to my current address!?!? I've never seen that one before.

Going to Target after work on the way to the comic shop - maybe they'll have some stock...

I've been to a number of Targets and haven't seen any of the new figures at all. They all seem to be pretty scarce on swappable characters in general, other than their packaged Nitro Magna Charge + 1 other character that everyone already has.

I blame it on the resellers!

Exactly! The last time I was at the store here (10 days ago) all they had were a few from Giants.

The Target here had about a half dozen of the Nitro Magna Charge 2 packs (I didn't really pay attention to which 2nd figure was in them) and quite a few of the "regular" characters from Wave 1 & 2 (both new and reposed) as well as the original Battle Pack and Adventure Pack but *nothing* from the new grouping.

Amazon currently has copies of the new Smolderdash (non LC), Dune Bug, and Hyper Beam Prism Break in stock.

Sheep Wreck Island is currently available for a January 10th in stock date. I was finally able to get one ordered.

The Arkeyan Crossbow Battle Pack is also in stock.

Stopped by Toys R Us and it looks like they got the latest wave of characters now. Was able to pick up Stink Bomb, Spy Rise, and Rubble Rouser with their 3 for $35 sale.

Cool. My TRU has, maybe, 2 or 3 different kinds of Swap Force characters total. So if you want to take advantage of the sale, you either double up or buy some legendary figures (for some reason that bird Legendary one is shelf warming like crazy)

It's funny that Target supposedly got the new swappers early but the first time I actually saw them and bought them was at Toys R Us. Also, do any other retailers have any deals going on that we can try and match at Toys R Us?

Still waiting to see any of wave 3 in the UK. Come on activision, get your act together!

I picked up the Lightcore Wham Shell and Countdown today before they scalpers clean them out like they did the Sheepwreck Island packs.

I've managed to pick up Rubble Rouser, Spy Rise, Dune Bug, Smolderdash, Sheepwreck Island, and Arkeyan Crossbow from Amazon over the past couple of days. Still no signs of any of these locally. I can't decide about LC Warnado (my grandson reminded me this is the only release it's seen since Spyro's Adventure) and Amazon hasn't had LC Wham Shell or Stink Bomb in stock long enough for me to snag either of those.

Went to TRU today and they had Magna Charge (I still haven't got this one yet) and Spy Rise... but that was it... didn't really want any of the Legendary Swappable ones, so I put them back and walked out. It was pretty picked through.

But I did walk away chuckling when I overheard a kid at the Disney Infinty section scream: "DAD LOOK!!! It's a Legendary Sully! Look, he's white!"

I returned and repurchased at TRUS my Lightcore Whamshell and Lightcore Countdown and was able to get Lightcore Warnado for an extra 6.50. They are having the buy 40 dollars or more and get 10 dollars off this week. It is a good time to grab some individual figures.

The only Swap Force figures we need that are out are: Twin Blade Chop Chop and Hyper Beam Prism Break.

The rest we need that haven't been released are:
Swap Force: Trap Shadow, Freeze Blade and Doom Stone
Regular: Punk Shock, Fire Bone Hot Dog, Fryno, Lightcore Bumble Blast, Turbo Jet-Vac and Scratch.

Went for a Sunday browse around our local Toys R Us. Hoping for something new. was very tempted to get the 3DS Starter Pack for the special Eruptor - but sense kick in.
