It's the only figure I am missing besides the variants so I feel the need to buy it even though we will never open it lol

I bet you can buy it cheap online from folks who preordered more than one copy.

The Hex light core figure shouldn't be rare, it was supposedly a pre-order bonus item, but you can purchase it separately like every other light core figures.

My $10 coupon worked fine on the Dark Edition.

Yes, it was. I wasn't planning on getting so much but damn that buy one get 40% off deal. It was still expensive but not as much. However, my daughter really likes the games and series and we have a lot of fun playing them together so in the end it is worth it. It is almost time for a Super Skylanders collection picture.

They allow that if you split your purchases up and use different rewards accounts. I ended up dropping $300 at TRU (even after all the coupons and discounts and I used them all) and just used my account and my wife's.

Yep, it is wired but with a rather long cord. Also, the portal itself has a bigger surface to lay figures on.

Not a terrible idea if you are collecting them. The variants and store exclusives have been difficult to find from past experience.

They've tried a wireless portal in the past and people had connectivity and power issues. So I guess they decided to stick with wired moving forward.

I'm going to try to grab the four Swap characters along with Riptide and Scorp. I hope I can get them before some asshat reseller comes in and loads up their cart with everything.

I might buy a tote bag ($19.99), a Swapforce figure ($15.99?) and two more light core figures. I'm wondering if the system is smart enough to max out the discount. If not, I rather separate the purchases....

You should forget the tote bag and buy two $15.99 figures to max out the discount! The system should also price everything correctly.

^^ YMMV, but when I purchased the started pack at Toys R U, the 20% off coupon (exp. 10/26) showed on my receipt for that, but it also showed the B1G1 40% off applying to the Hex prior to it discounting to free. It seems the coupon might be combinable with the promotion.
