re: Skylanders, Anyone?

FYI TRU has a coupon for 20% off a regular priced Disney Infinity item.

I am going to try and use it with my preorder.

I thought you guys were joking (and I really just happened upon it, since it's the first time I've been to the gamestop website in a long time) but there's a big hubbub about it:

Where's that "Gamestop murders kittens" thread?

Thanks! I have the game and a few packs preordered at Best Buy, but I'll use this and try to pick up one of the rumored crystal figures.

Oooh, that makes the Infinity starter kit price a bit more tolerable.

Damn variants... Are these supposed to be rare or is it going to be like jade flashwing / scarlet ninjini.

Edit: Looks like the D3 people got a free mickey mouse figure that won't be available until 2014.

Hey guys, quick question, for the Frito promo, it's $2.50 per Skylander Sidekick right? There's no combined shipping or anything is it?

Yep, there is that charge for each figure. When I did two orders they had to be done separately. I didn't even have the option to enter a second code and pay for the two figures at the same time.

They just need to a way to redeem multiple codes at once and they'll be set for their next promotion. This is 100x better than the first sidekick promo. They also sent the figures really quickly.

Cool, thanks DSA and Kray. Time to buy more chip, hahaha, I can't believe I'm saying this. Hey Kray, what's the first sidekick promo? Sorry, not a fan of Skylander until the Giants...

I think you can still get the first wave of sidekicks from gamestop by spending X amount of $ on skylanders crap.

They were based off of stealth elf, terrafin, gill grunt and trigger happy.

Eyebrawl is $4.99 at best buy. If I get swapforce, I am waiting for all the figures to go on sale.

I just submitted a "saw a lower price" at Amazon. Now the wait to see if they do a PM - Amazon also has Eye Brawl with free shipping, no minimum.

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Now that they made gnarly tree rex easy to get, I want to collect the rest of the non rare variants. IE Royal Double Trouble and gitd Fright Rider. The mobile pack is only $40 now but I don't own any apple products...

^I've been struggling over that Mobile Pack myself. I, personally, do not own any (cr)apple products but do have a work supplied iPad I could use. Still... I'd rather not but that figure keeps calling my name and $40 is not *too* bad for just the 3 figures...

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I got my Mini Ninjini during the first week of August but have yet to receive the other two I ordered just a few days after ordering MN. Has anyone else been waiting for some time to get their Sidekick(s)?

Yeah, I'm still waiting on my second one (after getting my mini ninjini within a couple of weeks). I guess I should send in the other two just to get it in the queeu.

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Did they reprint the adv packs from the original game? I've seen multiple Darklight Crypt packs at a couple of my local Targets as well as Sams Club.

Same here. And I thought I read somewhere Darklight Crypt was originally a Toys R Us exclusive. The inflated prices on eBay have dropped considerably, so it looks like there are a lot out there now.

Hmmm... still haven't seen this adventure pack around, but will have to go out and take another look. I have noticed in the past couple of weeks, some characters on the shelves that have resurfaced. Drobot Series 2, Fright Rider, Spyro Series 2.

Yeah, I finally got a Spyro series 2 last week... it was the first time I've ever seen him in stores.

I am assuming the targets I went to got some sort of adv pack assortment as they had all 4 of the adv packs.

re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Anyone else see how ugly the halloween themed eye brawl is? It has a normal eyebrawl skin in game so it's kind of pointless.
