Same. I wish Rockstar would take the PC side a little more seriously. GTA IV is rough on PC and didn't come out for a while IIRC. It will be really lame if they release a special Wii U version but don't spend time optimizing for PC again.

On the other hand, a Wii U version means there might be some nice graphical improvements that will transfer to the PC. Or it could mean Nintendo paid Rockstar a lot of $$$ to waste time on tablet controller integration.

If "Chinatown Wars" is any indication there's quite a lot Rockstar can do with a touchscreen.

360 is my console of choice and the odds of me not buying a 360 version are extremely slim but I wouldn't rule out buying it on 360 out of impatience and then re-buying on Wii U (which I haven't even decided to buy yet) if they really took advantage of the touchscreen.

Because it will have Mario jumping up and down on cars and mushrooms as his drug of choice. I don't want to be doing any missions for Donkey Kong.

Are the Miis carrying over? Because the more I think about it, the more appealing a GTA game filled with customizable Miis sounds.

I sure hope that poster is not a hoax....while I already somewhat figured it would be a spring release.....ya never know with Rockstar as they are known for pushing back their release dates.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Today, we're proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto V is expected to launch worldwide spring 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V takes place in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California in the largest and most thriving game-world we have ever created set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond – from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean.
Starting next week November 5, 2012, Grand Theft Auto V will become available for pre-order everywhere and fans can expect a host of new information to become available in November.

Look for downloadable desktop versions of the brand new artwork above coming very soon.

While I respect how much work and how technically impressive GTA IV is, I gotta agree, I hope GTA V is actually fun.

Can't really say I'm excited about the 3 character system, but other than that it sounds fantastic. The city is going to be massive.

Are they still giving away that stuff for pre-ordering? I want to go put some $ down this weekend if so.

Yes they are giving away to the first 15 people. Employees keep their own promo kit with 5 set.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I can't comprehend how they can have such an enormous game world running on the aging 360 hardware? No wonder they haven't announced a PC version, they must have spent a LOT of time refining this engine to perfection for the consoles.

I was thinking about this just now as well......It even sounds like too much. I mean think about riding around in Red Dead Redemption alone....it's huge.
