Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Is there a way to have the game remember your perspective preferences? I like third person driving and first person on foot but need to change my perspective manually every time I enter and exit vehicles. Very annoying.

Took the people at Target 40 minutes to figure out how to process this deal still, did finally get it and look forward to playing it.

The new version of GTA 5 will have first person sex scenes.

Yes, you can go into settings and set your preference for on foot, in car, etc.

Just got back from Best Buy, picking up my copy.

Nice to see that Rockstar is still including a manual and the map.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I picked mine up at lunch as well.

Bought a hardcover edition of the game guide on clearance two months ago for $10.50. That should probably help me out a bit. Totally worth it at that price (unfortunately it was before I got three 50% off game guide coupons from GCU renewals).

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I want to get this but not have my kid play It. I don't mind him playing call of duty with me or watchdogs but this is a little more extreme. Is there a way to block just this game or only ratings?(which would prevent him from playing the others mentioned)

Yes, you can block any of the sub-accounts on your system based on game rating, but not individual games.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I picked up my pre-order copy last night at Best Buy and the "bonus" money is nowhere to be found. It seems that a lot of Best Buy copies don't have the DLC code inside like they should nor are they printing a DLC code on their receipt. Now they are asking us to jump through extra hoops to get what we already jumped through some hoops to get in the first place. A bit off-putting if you ask me and I'm close to just forgetting about it and moving on with my life.

I picked up my preorder earlier and within 5 minutes received an email from Best Buy with the preorder code. You might want to check your junk mail.

I wish I could say that was the case. I did get my email for Far Cry 4 pre-order bonus that was done on the very same receipt that I pre-ordered two copies of GTAV on. There is definitely something wonky in the system. And another thing I'm skeptical of is knowing whether or not I actually get the 10 dollar RZ bonus in a few weeks for this title. It's kind of hard to tell through the RZ account what you are actually getting points/rewards for when you make many different types of purchases.

It printed on my receipt when I picked up my pre-order from Best Buy. You might want to call them

I know and I did call them earlier today with no real answer to why it didn't happen. It should have printed on my receipt like my Far Cry 4 codes did that were made in the same purchase. It makes no sense that I got one pre-order bonus but not another when all of the pre-orders were made on the exact same ticket and picked up on the same ticket. I sent Best Buy Unboxed a message to their specialists with all of the necessary information to hopefully get some sort of resolution to this. One of the copies belongs to a friend of mine and he sort of needs and was expecting this pre-order bonus to come through as it should.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

And if the pre-order bonus didn't come, that means the $10 RZ certificate won't be coming either. Some BB CS idiot rang the pre-order up wrong. I bet they did it as a $5 refund and then purchase.

Some idiot screwed up my CoD pre-order and messed up my getting the $10 GC back when they couldn't figure out how to apply the $10 off trade-up coupon to the order -- but since they refunded me $32 cash for no apparent reason with my purchase so I just let the whole thing slide.

Actually, on my receipt it says 20 dollars in pre-order credit is applied to the 4 copies I picked up.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I don't know about multiple pre-orders. The $10 reward zone certificate deal only applies to one game per GCU account and I wouldn't be at all surprised if the pre-order bonus works in the same way.

Don't forget also that you are only supposed to get the discount on three copies of a game per system and overusing the discount on a single game could result in disqualification from the program.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Played about 6 hours today. First person on foot is great and makes it feel fresh. Never liked first person driving so I have that switched to 3rd.

I forgot how good the story missions were and all the side activities. Gonna probably sink another 70+ hours into this one

And it sounds like Casinos are once again absent

I didn't get a code on my receipt either. Is it in the box?

Can someone tell me how you shoot while driving? I just can't figure it out.

Hold the L1 trigger to aim and the R1 trigger to fire your guns.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I appreciate that they added it, but first person driving is horrible. That's about the only negative I have.
The game is absolutely fucking gorgeous.

Are you a returning player? All I had to do was link my social club account and the welcome back message appeared. For the extra money I went into ammunation and when I went to buy something an option popped up to go to the pen store. When there the free money shows up.
