I was going to get the SE, but my Best Buy had none. In fact, all of my local Best Buys have none of the SE.
They have an insane amount of the regular editions, though.

I was able to pick up my 360 SE at Target around 11am. They had about 3-4 left.

I might check Target on my way home today, but I'm not too confident that they'll have any copies of the SE... because Canada. I'll keep my Best Buy non-SE copy sealed just in case.

Since you all care, I picked this up today. First game I paid more than $25 for since MLB 09 when I bought that on release day. Only two things I buy on release day. Sports games(few and far between) and GTA series. Also I haven't even touched my ps3(my only console) in about 6 months despite having about 20 unplayed games. That all ends in 3 hours when I get home

So i linked Life Invader to psn. I took a picture of chop and sent it to my life invader page. But when i load it on the desktop nothing shows up. Where are the pictures sent?

download the ifruit app, open it up and jump through all the set up hoops (if its working).

Go to the Los Santos Customs app. Then to license, create your own custom license and then go to Garage and customize your car. Your first one is free, so I think you can max out all the stuff that is open that costs money (which I did not do).

Did anyone upgrade their graphics card in their console so they can get the best graphics ever?

Did the license plate and custom car actually show up in the game for anyone? I set it up beforehand in the app but Franklin still started with the default white car and plate.

Aren't the custom plates for the online multiplayer?

The cashier line at my Best Buy was hilarious; 8 white dudes, all of us late-30s to early-40s, all of us buying GTA V and nothing else. I was the only one buying a PS3 copy.

And I didn't even know about the special edition 'till just now - if I knew about it earlier, I would've totally pre-ordered that.

Well the car you can order is for Franklin, so it seems like this stuff is for the single player.

Amazon finally delivered my copy. I can get an hour in before work.

Mine did. And the cool thing about it is that the car will always show up back at Franklin's house no matter where you leave it. You don't even have to park it in the garage.

I'm still waiting for my copy to show up (had to give my neighbor back his copy) or I'd take a pic and show off my custom red car with the black and yellow plates. C'mon UPS!

Just know that the app is being slammed, making it very hard to get the orders through to the server. Hell, even Rockstar Social Club is having loading issues today.

Just a random thought: Is there any other game series that could get away with launching 2 weeks before the online component goes live?

I've seen quite a few comments around the web from people who were surprised to discover this fact when they fired up the game, but they don't sound all up in arms about it either.

Does anyone know if the Digital Download version of GTA V on PS3 has any issues like the Xbox 360 has if you install the game? I know that some of the news sites warned that the PS3 digital download might have this same problem, but I haven't seen it confirmed yet.

I'm pretty sure any game series could get away with it. I'm sure people would be more pissed if it were a Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield or Final Fantasy XIV.

So if the customized car didn't show up when we started playing, are we just fucked? I ordered it through the app yesterday.
