Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
I've got a couple of friends dying to play this character but I'm not sure how much I'll play. Got (2) over 50, one in the low 40's and the last in mid 30's. There's is still a bunch to do and finish but doing the same maps, same missions is wearing thin. To do the 'Ultimate Vault Hunter' you're playing a third time thru. So with the new character it's going to be the same thing over again. I've seen the same places, same enemies and same missions now six times thru and haven't even started UVHM.

Tried out the new character Krieg and I'm kinda of a mixed bag with him. His melee kill are cool when using the action skill but it's was too short and cooldown take a long time. I found out that he can't use the geyser to get to shortcut on Doc Mercy cause he's too heavy, also can't grenade jump. I hope Gearbox patch this soon.

If you are playing on PC and are interested in Krieg, greenmangaming.com has a voucher for 30% off. It also applies to the season pass if you are interested. The code is GMG30-JLLFD-2CQSV. Also, if you interested in purchasing the game on PC, they currently have it at 10.88 with voucher GMG20-LLASD-D8WBQ. The code is 20% off and good on most PC titles.

40 minutes of gameplay of Tiny Tina DLC. Some spoilers so don't click if you don't want to see it. Also rumor that level increased might go 69 like the first game.

So is this the final piece of DLC? So hopefully a GOTY edition with everything should be announced soon and released in time for the holiday season?

My PS3 downloaded a new patch for Borderlands 2, which added the trophies for the Tiny Tina DLC. I went from 100% in B2 down to 88% (until next week of course).
10 new trophies are being added, bringing the total for the game up to 70. None of the trophies have anything to do with leveling your character up to 61 (or 69 if they added another increase). All of the trophies pertain to things you do in the DLC.

I'm almost finished with the game and I'm thinking about the DLC. Which is the better way to go?
- Borderlands 2 Add-On Pack and then purchase Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack, and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep separately. -- OR --
- Just purchase the Season Pass and be done with it.

Tiny Tina Assault is out on PS3.
Just go to store and use the search for borderlands 2 and you will find the DLC to download. It's only 1691 MB so it shouldn't take too long to download if you have fast wireless internet.

If all you want are the 4 add on packs, then get the Season Pass, as you get all 4, plus the Ultimate Vault Hunter Pack for $30. Then if you want Gaige or Krieg, you can grab those. The other add-ons are fluff.
If you could get a disc that had everything, I'd say go for that, but since you have to download half the stuff anyway, I'd just grab all of it that way.

Finally talked my best friend into buying the Season pass so we could keep playing together. First DLC we tried was Pirate's Booty. Liked the look of the new DLC and the tough new enemies. I thought the couple of hours we got to play were really fun.
Looking forward to trying Dragon Keep next.

Having a blast playing Tiny Tina Assault. Easter eggs I found are Dark Souls, LOTR, Conan the Barbarian, there probably some more that I haven't find. Oh, the treants can drop the Bee shield so it a good place to farm them.

The story of this DLC is really good. Easily the best storyline of any DLC for either Borderlands game. It's funny as hell, but touching too.
But it's pretty short, not as short as Hammerlock, but still pretty quick to knock out. They did change up the concept of the Raid Boss here, making it more of a team effort than before.

Played about 4 hours today. It's pretty good and funny. Seems bigger and longer, too. Barely got to chapter 2 and that was after like 4+ hours of play. Some of the enemies are a bitch. The boss battle with the 4 kings is insanely long. Took me and my buddy like 20 minutes to beat it.

The Grog Nozzle which is a mission gun that Claptrap give you in the new DLC is one freaking gun to use. Shoot it until you get drunk, you see the word [hiccup] on screen, swtich to another gun like the Norfleet or the Harold Unkempt and it get multiplier pellet plus 65% healing. The downside is you lose accurancy cause you're drunk but it still a good gun to use for raid bosses. If you want to keep this gun don't turn in the mission, if you do you loose the gun for good.
