Just Cause 2 is tempting. Might have to bite.

Not actually part of the Steam sale, but for the next 9 hours if you go to Gamersgate UK, they are selling Sid Meyer's Civ V for £6.78, which is around $11 US. You get an activation code which ties the game to your US Steam account. I did it and it works fine.

I'm considering Heroes V. I don't think I ever played it, and Heroes VI is slated for September.

Picked up Oblivion GOTY even though I played the hell out of it on the 360 (100ish hours); figured I could try out a bunch of the mods that people were raving about.

Also picked up PA 1 and 2, don't know if I'll ever play them.

I'm hoping they put mw2 on sale. $10 seems about right for it.

If you have the PC version, why get it on steam again?

I picked this up--kind of late, but I should note that the $4.99 buys you Heroes V, plus Dark Messiah and two expansion packs for the former game.

Re: Steam Summer Sale - June 30th - July 10th

I know it's not a big deal and easy enough to just grab some random year, but why in God's green Earth do I have to enter any birthdate at the Steam Store once I've already signed into my account? They know I already own lots of M rated games that are tied to my account, so why do they try to prevent me from seeing any M rated games for sale in their store?

Yeah i noticed that too. Very annoying. I think by now the internet should have a feature where it knows after you've verified your age once you never have to enter it again at any site.

Re: Steam Summer Sale - June 30th - July 10th

Hmmm..... I've wanted Transformers WfC for a while for the 360. It's never cheap, let alone clearanced out, and I can't find it for less than $30 anywhere. Maybe I'll just give up on picking it up for the 360 (wanted to get it to play co-op with my best friend), and just get the PC version instead.

Don't know if you have a Blockbuster near you, but it's $14.99 now and part of their B1G1 that ends today.
