Good Friday night with OG, Spatch and Lee.

The highlight this week had to have been on Harvest Day, where we'd dominated the other team and they quit out. We're in their spawn, and I'm just blasting randomly with a tank and had dug a huge hole in the ground. Spatch jumps in the hole and was tormenting me in some way I can't remember, so I just park my tank over the hole with him in it. :lol:

I'm 299 from a positive K/D ratio...not sure how long that will take, but hopefully not more than a week or two. I made up ~200 just last night even after the game freezing on a map where I had a shit ton of kills. :grumble:

Finally got moved into our new house, got the internets hooked up and then today bought me a new wireless router.

Sorry I bailed on you yesterday OG. While I was waiting for you to come back, our team was just barely holding Delta, and a good number of their team had set up camp sites around it. So with you not being in the game, my only options were to spawn there and go through that meat grinder or spawn at our base and run all the way to Alpha.

And like I said when you got on, I was just about to get off anyway.

I'll likely be on tonight and/or tomorrow night. 193 from a positive K/D ratio...maybe a little less depending on where it rounds up.

Epic night on the Battlefields with OG. We found that rare game where the other team isn't very good, but they stick around for a ton of abuse through 5-10 maps.

Quote of the night, while we spent nearly the entire map tanking it up in the other team's spawn, both going something like 25 and 2:

"I've become that guy I used to hate." :lol:

Looking for a graphic with "Combat Excellence" pin count, since I hear Spatch and OG always trying to get them.

Only lose number 2 - 3 weapons and revives/repairs/ammo, and it has dogtags instead of teamkills. I think it's worth trading those for Combat Excellence, total points, and points per minute.

After looking at about billion banners, I decided to just spend a few hours editing our current one. Changes include:

• Added pins for Combat Effectiveness and Combat Excellence, moving revives/repairs/resupplies to the right by shrinking favorite vehicle a bit...also put the Anti Vehicle Efficiency Pin in this space
• Added pins for Nemesis and Melee Efficiency where veteran status was...seemed like a better use of space.
• Changed Team Kills to Global Score
• Changed Squadplay Attitude (a fairly arbitrary formula) to DogTags or "Wookies Stabbed"
• Increased the font size of the name a bit

The last debate I had was between the Melee Efficiency Pin, the Payback Pin, and the Avenger Pin. I mostly bounce back and forth between Melee and Avenger, since Payback is the result of a bad thing (somebody getting a nemesis on you).

See what you guys think before I change the OP...assuming anybody reads this anymore.

That's pretty much a perfect banner, chess, good work.

I can't think of anything I would really change. I do like that it has the Anti Vehicle Efficiency Pin yet I also wonder if it would be cool to have a motion mine assist icon to go with the paddles, repair tool, and ammo box. I'd be good, either way.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure there are only 3-5 of us paying attention, but I hear you and OG talk about a couple of these pins/stats every time we play, so it was bugging me. Plus I put all that effort into the BF3 banner, and I don't really even like the game that much.

• Added motion mines (unfortunately "motion assists" aren't tracked in the database though, only fires and hits)
• Deleted Melee pin and shifted Combat Efficiency, Excellence, and Anti Vehicle in a way that I think is more visually pleasing with gold/silver grouped together and efficiency/excellence still next to each other.

Once I hit 50 of those combat excellence pins, I imagine I'll obsess over them less. (I want those 10,000 points!) But the banner looks great!

I figured, but it's always funny to hear you or Spatch saying "I'm at 7 kills!!!!"

Speaking of which, I was telling OG the other night how nice it was at lvl 50 to not really think about points and whether you get the 150 or the 75...or worry about much of anything for that matter. I now find myself hanging around the perimeter of objectives and racking up kills at about double the rate I used to. I'll also let blueberries run into objectives and see if anybody gives away their position. It's liberating...and fun.

The other one I edited...just changed the pins to anti vehicle, nemesis, payback, efficiency, excellence, squad, and ace. This one only calculates stars for weapons (not gadgets or vehicles):

I like that middle one with the rank on the left though I liked the black background you had in there for a while as opposed to the red, white, and blue motif. Perhaps red, white, and black would look cool. Definitely need stars for gadgets and vehicles, given my love of a certain gadget of course. :)

Only problem with black is that it subdues some of the detail on the weapons, and you still have to use gray for at least the stickman or he won't have limbs.

Why do you hate America?

Had to edit to fix the red...posted the "USA" one twice instead of the red with black name block.

Do folks agree with making the name area black...trying to make it stick out a bit.

I don't really have a strong preference. Hell, I'd even be open to letting folks pick their color for the OP...or I can make other combos in a matter of minutes.

...and holy shit...Cruz in the BF thread!!!?!?!
