So this afternoon I drop into Vong's game just as its ending. Scammed some victory points. Next match he drops at the start. Steamroll city. Competitive but still steamrolled. So I finish the map and drop into his new game... and it's 12 on 4. They're launching rockets into our spawn. I get killed five seconds after spawn by... Vong. Ass.

In my defense I didnt know you joined my game at the end as I was leaving AND I also didn't know it was you I sniped until you were dead and it showed your name.


That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

A side note I'd really like to knock out those Online Co-op missions if anyone wants to join me. I'd like to unlock the guns for those.

Rufio needs to have his tags taken every once in a while to bring him back down to our level.

I've made it through a few, but would be down for some more at some point.

Wow.

Went 17-1, nabbed the Ace Pin by 1000+ points, and earned two, count 'em, two Combat Excellence Pins defending on Atacama Desert Rush tonight in BFBC2 (with Octo and ogsoley). One of the more brilliant enemies used their Hind to get close to an M-Com and bailed so this random blueberry and I hopped into the chopper. Turns out he's the best pilot I've ever worked with. Lined up so many shots, particularly of vehicles. Knocked the UAV out of the air once and took out the guy at the controls twice. Blew up several vehicles. This guy was a good enough pilot that after we took some fire I had time to message him that I'm an engineer and he kept evading fire that whole time before we landed and I repaired us. Best moment was when a hit brought us down to 5% but we lived! We set down, I repaired, and we went up for more. Octo hopped in for the ride and racked up the squad points. My one death? They finally blew up our Hind over their deployment and I died after my ten seconds out of bounds (my pilot, too). So cool.

So much of the fun stuff from BC2 is gone in BF3...love wookie hunting and stabbing UAV pilots...love anti-aircraft guns...love Gustaving choppers...love collapsing houses with douchebags hiding upstairs...love BC2.

BF3 has really been a game of balancing frustration lately. W/L ratio is almost always about getting in with the teamwork squad. Dropping in randomly is almost always a recipe for the steamroll. My W/L is steadily declining... because I play at off hours. I always hold my own on the bad team. Being in the top two or three but that just says that nobody's is playing objectives because that's generally all I do. And rush... shit. Forget about it. Though I have to admit, Rush and Wake Island is a lot of fun.

If you're talking BC2...

Freaking good times in BC2 tonight with Flip, R2 and Nic!!! Did some solid medic work and nabbed 3-4 more ace pins to pad my lead.

Also, Flip and I beat the chopper co-op mission in BF3 with me doing my best impression of a chopper pilot and him rocking the guns. It took us a few times to get it down, but it felt great to finish that thing.

He forgot to mention that I'm an awesome chopper pilot too. Once I even made it to the first checkpoint.

I was on all night last night and didn't see ya guys once dammit! Send me an invite!!!

I think when we see folks on BF3, we assume they are content to play that turd.
