If it wasn't game 7 I would be down for some Resistance 2. Might be nice to play it or the first time with some buddies, and Slider.

Re: Return of the Weekly Rotating Games Night (PS3)

Planetside 2, bitches.

Free to play on PS4 (console exclusive) at launch, curently PC only, looks like Warhawk (sci-fi, scale, air vehicles) meets Battlefield (medic, engineer, recon & assault classes) meets CoD (twitchy shooting) with thousands of people on every server.

Note that reviews are from initial PC release 6 months ago, and most "bug" issues should be worked out as SOE optimizes for PS4 architecture.

Yeah. I've heard good things about Planetside 2 and I like the idea of 3 armies battling it out instead of just 2.

Re: Return of the Weekly Rotating Games Night (PS3)

Alright its time to bring shit back up to speed. Here is what I am thinking about for the next couple of weeks:

July 11th - CoD:Black Ops
July 18th - Red Dead Redemption
July 25th - ? Vote on it
August 1st - CoD Black Ops 2
August 8th - ? vote - I will be on vacation this week

I think you guys should vote on a game by pming me your top 3 you would wanna play. List games in order you wanna play. I'd compile votes. Top votegetters are games we play.

I case we don't have many people show up we should agree on a few smaller games to try out. I'd try for Zombies in Black ops 1 or 2 or Payback the heist or whatever else you guys can think of.

I'm up for the first two, plus BFBC2 and Burnout Paradise. Is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game in the PSN store? Can four of us play that?

An updated version of one of them (Turtles in Time) used to be, but I think it was taken down for some reason. X-Men and The Simpsons Arcade game (which are both very similar side scrolling beat um up's) are available.

I have a rental copy from Gamefly and it asks for a online code to play the multiplayer. I figured I might buy the code if the multiplayer was good.

I've jumped back into Red Faction: Guerilla lately. I'd be up for some multiplayer of that if anyone was interested. Public games are mostly dead.

Reminds me that I need to use that code and download whatever token maps they gave me.

Yeah, I'll be your death monkey. Bitches better play some Battlefield at some point though.

Re: Return of the Weekly Rotating Games Night (PS3)

Black Ops tonight. I'd be down for some Red Faction. BFBC2 is good in small doses also.

I think that first Black Ops map pack had Kowloon, Berlin Wall, Dicovery and Stadium. And I think every body had it.

Re: Return of the Weekly Rotating Games Night (PS3)

I have whatever came with my disk, but I have no game data on my PS3 at all, much less the DLC maps. I deleted it all at some point because I needed space for good games.

I'll try to get everything loaded up and will play if I'm home, which really depends on what others have planned for me.
