I think the first did a better job with the characters. The whole mob boss angle in II was pretty lame.

I am going thru my back log and played and finished this yesterday.

I have to say that the Horror Carnival Ride chapter was alone worth playing the game.

This game has been on the radar for a while cuz of my interest in the comics...which I STILL haven't read but they looked fucking cool.

Anyway...I've owned TD1 and TD2 for like 7 months now. I've been trying to take down my stack of games for a while now.

TD1, which I regret never playing sooner, hasn't aged well. It's an interesting game but hasn't aged well for 2014.

TD2 on the other hand? Fucking awesome. I LOVED the narrative of Jackie in this one. His struggle for Jenny. While the actual threat in this game was weaker in the sense of a boss threat but it was neat. I LOVED the visuals to this. I loved the gameplay in this. It's a good change from the TD1. I would love a combo of TD1 and TD2 gameplay but TD2 had its shit together better than the first game.

Fuck. That ending...I want to see wtf happens next. I was actually emotionally involved in Jackie's drama moreso than in the first game. I loved it here.

Great but short game with very little faults. I was amazed that there were still some random guys for the MP. I thought it was fun.

I want DARKNESS 3 on XBOX ONE!
