Angry Video Game Nerd- who's heard of him
This guy is something of an idol to me , his videos on youtube which have been going on for a couple of years now go off on every unknown old school video game ever. Some of the best ones was reviewing some text-based Dracula game which inexplicably starts off with the hero in a bed (?) trying to move but none of the commands are working so AVGN types in:
"Fuck you"
Game:"Don't know how to 'fuck' something"
Another was the Die Hard NES game, "you got guys coming out of the doors, guys coming out of the ground, guys coming out of your ass"
At times already a master of seeing if a game is going to be shitty by little clues from the get go he goes "gee let's see how this fucker is going to turn out…"
Another was some Air Fighter game on NES with the last level being you having to destroy a Space Shuttle at launch, "well can't let those fuckers go to space."

Duff, unless it's something brand new, it's best to assume that pretty much everyone's heard of everything on the internet, and that they're even more familiar with it than you are.

Yeah, but those guys were relatively new and pretty much only on youtube. AVGN, or what he first called himself, Angry Nintendo Nerd, has had his own successful website for 10 years, a year before there was even youtube.
