Yeah, I have P4G for the PS3, and it is one of the best, if not the best, fighter out there, 2D or otherwise.

I have an extra Vita from black Friday and am wondering if I recommend my dummy account, if the $20 gets sent via email as a code or if they just attach it to your account.

If someone wants to send me a referral let me know. Don't know what info you need? I just got a Vita first edition bundle off of ebay. I don't know if that qualifies for the promo or not but we can try.

That's P4A, P4G is a straight up RPG.

That promotion's over unfortunately.

This box-opening game sounds like something totally up my alley.

Heads-up for those looking for a reasonable memory card deal : BestBuy.com shows that the 16 GB card is on sale for $29.99 (50% off), however it's not available to ship or to buy in stores apparently. I was, however, able to easily get Target to PM that price in the store.

This sounds really interesting, at least as far as demos go:

Soul Sacrifice: Demo Out Today, Saves Transfer to Full Game

+ Posted by Kumi Yuasa // Producer, SCEA

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8251/8...1c514330_z.jpg

I hope you’re ready for Soul Sacrifice — the demo will be available this afternoon on PSN!

Your first reaction to the demo might be, “Holy moly, this is a LOT of demo!” …And you’d be right! The entire first chapter of the full game is included, all of which is playable with up to three other friends via online or ad-hoc multiplayer. Inafune-san made it a special point for the demo to be quite substantial, as you can read in his comments below:
“The number one reason for the Soul Sacrifice demo to have a lot of content was to show the users the full attraction of Soul Sacrifice. We knew that cutting out a small section of the game and saying, ‘Isn’t this part fun?’ would not show the users the full potential of the game. We figured that it wouldn’t make sense if the users could not have the ‘I want to play more’ feeling.

“So, we decided we want to provide, ‘at the very least,’ this amount of the game for the users. That is why, if you compare it to a standard demo, this became such a substantial piece. But we are confident that this will not become something negative where the users will feel like, ‘We played enough.’ After we released the demo version in Japan we received many voices, saying ‘[I] want to play more’ and ‘I want to get more hooked on this game.’ That is why we believe making this demo with this amount of volume and detail was a success.”

Soul Sacrifice is a long adventure, with dozens of hours of gameplay. The demo is not only a great way to sample the full experience, but also to let you get a head start on that adventure before the game releases. To that end — this part is important, pay attention! — the save data will carry over to the full game! Not only that, if you do carry over demo save data to the full game, you will receive an exclusive bonus item: “Spirits’ Heart”! It summons a powerful stone golem that will fight for you!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8536/8...d8599a9d_z.jpg

Trying the demo and carrying over your save data is the ONLY way to get “Spirits’ Heart,” so why not give it a shot if you’re already interested in the game?

The Soul Sacrifice demo offers a single player mode AND a multi-player mode. Multi-player can be played via both ad-hoc and online, but please be aware that multi-player and all online features for the demo will be terminated and will no longer be available on April 30th, 2013. After this date, you will still be able to play the demo offline and ad-hoc. Of course, that’s not a problem, since you’ll all be picking up the full game when it launches on April 30th, right? *wink*

Don’t forget to pre-order! Not only do you get three exclusive Magic Offerings and two exclusive costumes, but you’ll also get the Japanese voice-over audio pack for free!

If you haven't tried it already, download The Room for your phone. Much slower pace but pretty solid.

No. PSN was down yesterday and the store never updated. Hopefully it will sometime this morning.

That Soul Sacrifice demo is mighty sweet. I haven't taken it online yet, but it's a cool, very well made game. If I were able to buy it at a discount, I'd have pre-ordered it already, but since I've never paid $40 for a Vita game and still haven't gotten far in either P4G or Ragnorok, I think I'll probably wait for a sale.

Wash Your Hands! Men’s Room Mayhem Coming to PS Vita

+ Posted by Phil Gaskell // Producer, External Development, SCEE Liverpool

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7044/8...5f6d24c0_z.jpg

Hi PlayStation.Blog fans! My name is Phil Gaskell, I’ve worked on games such as Super Stardust HD, and Dead Nation. These days I run an indie publisher called Ripstone. We helped teams like Voofoo Studios launch Pure Chess last year, and more recently Big Sky Infinity and Knytt Underground. We love indies and we love PS Vita, and I can’t wait to share with you some of the awesome shizzle we’re working on this year!

Today though I’m very proud to announce a game we made together with Sawfly Studios, a team of talented guys who are ex-Studio Liverpool. The game is called Men’s Room Mayhem, and as you can probably guess from the title it takes toilet gaming to a whole new level! If I had to sum it up in a single sentence I’d say it’s like Flight Control meets Carry On At Your Convenience!
http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8540/8...e5e394c0_m.jpg

In Men’s Room Mayhem you’re hired as the janitor of your very own chaotic men’s room. You’re responsible for directing patrons, keeping everywhere sparkling clean and steering patrons away from trouble! You need to get your customers safely to the urinals and cubicles in time – otherwise there’ll be a few nasty accidents for you to clean up! Avoid fights by strategically steering patrons past each other with pinpoint precision, but be careful, as the waves increase the patrons pile up fast – so mind your pees and queues! (did you see what I did there?). All this is done using simple line drawing gestures on PS Vita’s 5″ touch screen.

Extra points are scored for maintaining proper men’s room etiquette as well as for demonstrating good personal hygiene. And this links to nicely to how I came up with the idea for Men’s Room Mayhem. It really comes from the whole notion of there being men’s room etiquette. Like most good ideas it started with several pints of ale at a local bar with my friends. When I inevitably went to point percy at the porcelain I had a moment of clarity. I realised I was subconsciously following a set of rules for using the little boy’s room. If there was nobody in there I used the urinal furthest from the door, I always left a gap of one urinal between me and anyone else in there and if I couldn’t leave a gap I used the cubicle!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8255/8...faa7eed4_z.jpg

Nobody ever taught me this, not my Dad or my friends, it was a set of behaviors I picked up over time — or perhaps it’s more deep-rooted than that (the boffins would say it’s connected to our prehistoric ancestors and being at our most vulnerable when we’re doing our business). This sort of psychology fascinates me, so I thought it might be fun to make a game of it – partly to see how many other guys don’t realize they follow the rules, and partly to let all the ladies know us fellas have a certain code of conduct in our washrooms too y’know!

Stay tuned for some more screenshots and details on the game as well as the launch date and the price. You can follow us on Twitter or Facebook for updates too. Until then, just remember to wash your hands!

April 30th. Trying to do research to see if it's a generic code or not. the email also states that free DLC is incoming to the PSN store on 5/28, 6/11, and 6/25.

Picked up Rayman : Origins for $8.98 today on clearance at Target, but it's evidently going to be free on PSN+ in Europe June 5th. I may keep it sealed for a while until we get the US PSN+ June update.

The complete European calendar if anyone cares...

Entering PS Plus in June:
29th May: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
29th May: ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection
29th May: Demon’s Souls
5th June: Rayman Origins
5th June: Coconut Dodge Revitalised

Does the US usually get most of the same games? I'd love to get a couple of those PS3 titles.
