I'm leaving work at 12:30 because Uverse is benig installed today so I'm going to stop by gamestop and pick up my pre-order and play the game while i'm waiting the technician to show up.

I'm still trying to decide between the PC and 360 versions. My PC has recently been upgraded with a second 5770 card so it should probably run it nicely, but it did chug a little in the demo. For the record, Crysis 2 was the game that I upgraded my PC video card for. Also, since I'm about to get a huge HDTV put into my new man-cave, this seems like the sort of game that I would enjoy playing on the 360 on the huge screen rather than in my office on the computer monitor. I'm torn...


Does that Kmart deal apply to the PC version or only console ones?

Argh. This was supposed to get a bunch of meh reviews so I didn't have to be tempted by that KMart sale. On top of that now I have to seriously consider getting this for the 360 and not the PS3?

You can hook your PC up to your HDTV, you know. This isn't 1990 anymore where being on a PC means you have to be restricted to a small monitor on a desk.

Yeah, I know that, but I'm not going to unhook all the connections from my computer and lug it down the hallway and plug it into the big TV just to play Crysis 2 on. For me it's either a PC game to play on the PC in the office or a 360 game to play in the man-cave. I'm leaning 360, though I know it'll kill my cousin who installed my second video card and is a big PC gamer.

edit : CAG confirmed : No deal on PC version (actually no PC versions of the game at Kmart this month). So that's $40 in savings for the 360 version + 4000 points card vs nothing in savings for the PC. Makes my decision easier.

I just upgraded my PC to an i5 2500k 3.3Ghz this past weekend, and am running 2 GTX 460's. I'd really like to test out my system with this game, but I've got so many other games I'm playing right now, that I think I'll wait. Seeing the good reviews is going to make it hard to wait though.
