Loving it so far too, surprisingly so. This is one of the better franchise reboots I've played.

Best game I have played in a long time. Poor Lara went through hell in that opening. And the opening has replaced the train climb in Uncharted 2 as most intense.

Loving the game so far but it pretty stingy with the achievements. To many "collect all ...". It gets pretty boring hunting around for very small shiny objects. And to many multi-player achievements. I'll probably never get those.

The survival instinct thing reminds me of the Batman games and hunting for Riddler stuff. It's definitely a bit annoying if you're trying to collect everything.

I'm loving this game, but I was just thinking earlier about how the collectible hunt nearly ruins the otherwise amazing flow and tension of the story. This is a problem with a lot of modern games, but it's really glaring in this one simply because of its excellent pacing.

Oh and since there's a new Legacy of Kain coming, I almost hope they do it in a similar fashion to this albeit with different combat.

I guess I won't be getting achievements because I don't enjoy collecting shit to collect it and I tried one match of MP and it was awful.

This is a game that just didn't need multi-player support. Unless they added co-op campaign mode like Portal 2 where puzzles required two people to solve.

I bet that mode would look something like this:

But then pretty much every game just has to have the multiplayer bullet-point on the back of the box, regardless of how useless it is. Thanks Obama!

I could see Multiplayer working in it if they polished it up a bit, the combat is much more fun than the combat in Uncharted in single player.

See, I didn't like the multi-player support in Uncharted either. Just felt forced. But other UC is a great game, very similar to TR.
