Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

Played through the first two worlds this morning (on my own console.) It's pretty good. It has some annoying issues though.

It was the first game I played in my new PS3 and I had to force quit it because, when I tried to connect to someone's game (for one level,) it glitched at the loading menu and kept alternating between the regular loading screen showing a glitched red loading bar and a white screen.

Yeah the infinite load glitch sucks - to fix it, apparently you can turn off your controller and it will finish loading, then turn it back on and you're good to go.

Cool.

I haven't checked it in forever, but it had a couple thousand hearts the last time I checked. I was almost disappointed when they added water because I'd created pseudo water in so many different ways myself including an infinite waterfall made of blue textured glass.

LBP2 should come in the mail early this week, so I'll check it out then.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to try it if it happens to me again (which I sincerely hope it won't.) I'm paranoid that it'll damage my system, especially quitting out during a load screen even though it's glitched.

You're not quitting out of anything - just turning off the controller. I had to do it a few times today to get co-op games to load, and it seemed to work. Mind you, I didn't NOT try it - so it could just be happenstance.

Yeah, I know. It's only happened to me once and that was before you mentioned that possible fix. I quit back to the PS3 menu because it seemed like a glitch that wasn't going to end. Just hoping that wouldn't of done any damage to my new PS3. I'm paranoid though.

I beat it this morning. It started off slowly, but kept getting better and better as I progressed. Although I think the best world was the science world.

Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

it's amazing what that level editor allows people to create:

<iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1gOx2U0tW-Q" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>

I may have to pick this game up now.

Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

New Move compatibility pack comes out today. Looks awesome with new content. Unfortunately, it's $9.99 which I think is kind of mean since Move support was supposed to be included from the get-go.
Here's the trailer:
<object classid="clsid<param name="movie" value="http://www.viddler.com/simple_on_site/67cb787c" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="flashvars" value="fake=1"/><embed src="http://www.viddler.com/simple_on_site/67cb787c" width="437" height="265" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="true" flashvars="fake=1" name="viddler" ></embed></object>

Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

From the way I read it, I can't tell if everyone gets Move support, and the DLC pack gets you the new levels + ability to create levels with Move, or if the only people who have Move support and can play Move-supported user generated content are the ones who buy the pack.

How did the paint gun work in LBP1 in terms of UGC?
