For those that purchase the game today, don't forget to download the DLC of the space suit and the rare T-shirt only available this week.

While I love me some LBP costumes, I think I'm gonna skip on the $5 week one t-shirt.

And Decker, I surely did not mean to offend your super LBP fandom! I went ahead and pre-ordered both the normal and CE edition from Amazon. I think my normal edition was my last ECA discount one. But I figured with the 20 credit (which I put to ME2 with another $20 credit) and the ECA discount, I could sell off the game brand new and sealed and save some extra money on my CE.

From what I read these are universal, but one of these did not work for me.
Thanks for the codes (The BSBV-MJTB-DNON didn't work for me either), but the rest did for 10 more points. The LBP2 guide looks good for 20 points, but I may save them for the Killzone 3 Map Pack, and "Unlock & Load Pack" (?) that are coming later in February.

Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

Got the game from TRUS. I had a $40 GC from Epic Mickey I think and a $4 GC from rewards points, so the game only cost me $21. Oh and I got a $10 GC.

I didn't play the first game too much, but my daughters loved it and they played it for at least 20 hours, so they should like this game too.

I didn't realize the DLC was $5 dollars. I thought it was free.

The Space Suit is free. The rare T-shirt is $5. Pass on that one.

Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

My friend picked it up yesterday, so I played it for a while with him (and also did some solo play as well.) I like it, but it hasn't hooked me like I'd expected. It's a beautiful game, though, and it's amazing how customizable and open it is. As well as how accessible and creative it is.

I'm not completely sold on a purchase because I'm not sure if I'll get a lot of playtime out of it. So, I'm just going to rent it. Hopefully it'll hook me during my rental - as I progress further through it. If so, I'll probably buy it once a GOTY Edition is released, at a reasonable price.

My copy still hasn't arrived. Damn Amazon! I pay $90 a year for this?

Those who bought it : Are you enjoying it? Any really cool levels/games online yet?

Thoroughly enjoying it so far! I've played through the first two worlds and the levels so far are very different from one another so it's keeping it fresh and challenging! I haven't tried any of the online levels yet. I'm too busy trying to learn the grapple/pull in/jump high move! lol

Feel free to hit me up for any of the 2+ player areas or versus modes (that goes for everyone not just Decker. :-) )

Play "Little Lost" bitches!

It was a pre-water design, but I'll bet a few people like it. Easily a month invested.

Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

I'm also enjoying it so far. I'm only playing the built in levels for now, gonna try some downloadable ones later.

Edit: Couldn't connect to a single user level. I'm going to assume that's because everyone is playing the game right now. Still a bummer.

Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

Not sure if it's my 360 that RROD'd or this game is just that good, but man am I hooked on this. I started playing my GOTY version of LBP1 last week, and just couldn't stop. I picked up the CE(the swag could've been better) and I've been going back and forth acing levels on the 1st one to get the cool costumes, I just unlocked the Trex one. AWESOME!

Anyway, this game is so much fun, the new gadgets are just too cool. Even my GF loves it. The online co-op thing is just really acting up for me, it takes forever to join.

If anyone else wants to work on some of 2X levels or just to mess around, I'm down. (I'll add you HotThang)

My PSN: AngColette

Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

Do you have to get so far in the new game to get to play the online levels or is there just a server problem? I finish the first 4 levels in the first world and then tried to get online and I was locked out. Well, I guess I'll work on finishing the story first and then play some online levels.

Nah, you can jump right in without playing the story levels, it's probably just server issues, which they seem to be having lately.

Re: Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Thread

I got the game today and I'm loving it. Played a few story levels but I have yet to partake on the Community levels. Might try it later in the week.
I'm also open to a few adds to play this game, just make sure to state that you are from DVD Talk and username. I might even send a few invites myself.
