If that 's the case would we be interested in changing Bioshock 2 to RDR to take advantage of double XP on friday night?

I checked the Rockstar Social Club on Tuesday and saw nothing about bonus XP. That's great news. Time to download me some expansion packs.

Double XP means I go back to helping the unwashed masses get gold on the advanced co-op missions. Nice.

Can't they just patch those 5 remaining trophies in a few days later? This is what I would do if I were in charge.

Sounds very possible, but I doubt they do it.

Okay, the Exploding Rifle is a lot of fun. And the new gang hideouts add a few new twists to the format. I'm definitely digging the additions.

Re: Dead Thread Redemption: Red Dead Redemption, The Thread: Part II

Anyone want to get on the PS3 for a bit and do an hour or so of gang hideouts? I'm wanting to take advantage of the double XP before it expires tonight. Send me a PS3 message or a friend invite.

Thanks Cruz and Flipper for helping me put the posse on a pedestal.

No problem. Normally I would tell you to not put the posse on a pedestal but in this instance I'll make an exception.

Oh no - not the tomahawk chop from Gator. That'd be blasphemy.

It wouldn't so much be blasphemy if he were referring to this particular chop.

How about the Tomahawk Toss? This is definitely Red Dead related and has nothing to do with the Noles.

Re: Dead Thread Redemption: Red Dead Redemption, The Thread: Part II

Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare

Rockstar teases us with a first look at the artwork for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare downloadable content.

The Undead Nightmare art is a gruesome take on the original Red Dead Redemption cover art, with James Marston replaced with a slightly more fearsome cowboy.

The Undead Nightmare pack follows Marston on a single-player quest to rid the Old West of a highly contagious zombie plague. Expect new gameplay mechanics, weapons, zombie animals, mythical creatures, and some new multiplayer modes as well once the $9.99 pack releases for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Look for a wallpaper version of the cover art, the first screens, and the trailer for Undead Nightmare to show up later this week.

Re: Dead Thread Redemption: Red Dead Redemption, The Thread: Part II

I think that just means the trailer is due this week. I think they're doing one pack a month until they're all used up. Undead is the 3rd of 4 or 5.

Expect it just before Halloween.

Really? Two weeks in a row? You'd think they'd want to stretch it out and give us (and our wallets) some time to absorb the last pack.

But more importantly... Double XP again?

EDIT: Or what pinata said. Probably just means the trailer.

Re: Dead Thread Redemption: Red Dead Redemption, The Thread: Part II

Red Dead Rising? As much as I want this now my wallet needs a break and I need a bit more time to finish the story. I am up for some posse play and doing some gang hideouts to level up a bit. I'm inching closer to level 30 and would like to cap it out in the next couple of months.
