Wish it was on Live but I LOVE the fact it's on the iPad. This is awesome news and the perfect type of platform for that device.

Yeah, if they are doing it for the PC, how hard it would be to "export" it to XBL?

Microsoft frowns upon free, and so that free first episode thing probably didn't fly.

I'm really surprised it's not going to be on XBLA, good thing I have a PS3 also.

Like I said above, this will almost certainly wind up on Live as a complete collection.

Telltale tried episodic content once before on Live, with Wallace & Gromit and it was a pretty big failure. The Sam & Max collections @ 1600pts each, were received with much better enthusiasm.

Re: Telltale Games Back to the future episodic Adventure game!

The Tales of Monkey Island episodes were released only on PC, PS3, and Wii, and not the 360. So it isn't completely unbelievable if Back to the Future skips the 360 too. It's definitely strange that they would exclude the 360, but not unbelievable. Maybe Microsoft did something to piss off Telltale and they stopped developing for the 360?

Edited to add: Looking around on Telltale's site, only the first two seasons of Sam and Max appear to have been released on 360. The third season was not. It definitely appears that Telltale has stopped developing for the 360 for whatever reason.

No, I have a Mac, but I was hoping for 360 due to the controller interface.

Let's hope so.

iPad seems like it would be the perfect platform... if I had one.

Isn't it a "point and click" type adventure game? It seems to me a mouse would be a lot more intuitive than a controller.

I'm guessing that the games do not sell well on the 360 platform. Based on what does sell well on XBLA I'm guessing the chief complaint is "not enough farting".

Where did you see it would be point and click? I hadn't heard/seen anything on that.

Isn't that what all of the telltale adventure games are? (Sam And Max, Moneky Island, etc.)

Every game is made better with farting.

Re: Telltale Games Back to the future episodic Adventure game!

The actual reason Telltale hasn't released episodic content to XBL lately is that there is no subscription policy in place. If Telltale could charge you for a full season up front and dole out the episodes as they were released they would release them on XBL but they can't and that's why we'll have to wait until they release entire seasons after the fact.

Man, I've waited on all the Sam and Max seasons to be complete to play through them... but I'm gonna need a season pass for this one. Count me in on PC.

Man, that sounds just like Michael J. Fox. As others have said, if I hadn't been aware that it was someone else voicing McFly, I'd have just assumed it was Fox, especially since Lloyd is on board.

I'll probably get this once they release all the episodes or if it ever makes its way to a disc.

Just got an email that they won't actually be giving away the free episode until February. The December release date is for paying customers only.

I would definitely download these for a console, preferably wii. I don't do PC games.

It's already available on the PS3 (at least the first episode is). Since PS+ gave Sam & Max S3, there's no way I'd buy BTTF now at full price.
