Seriously, that's pretty epic for 10/26. Between them, Jimi, and the rumored STONE TEMPLE PILOTS DLC for next week, GH:WOW is seeming more and more like a distant memory and for why not?

Anybody think the Soundgarden/RHCP songs missing could be related to exclusivity deals signed with the competitive franchise (Guitar Hero)?

I mean, Soundgarden signed that deal with GH to release it's new CD in GHWR bundles. And, didn't RHCP sign some sort of deal for a band-exclusive game with GH? I'm going to go out on a limb and say those two things may have something to do with it. That is, if those two RB1 on-disc songs are in fact left off of the export to RB3.

I doubt we're gonna see a GH: RHCP game anytime soon. If ever. Unless it's some kind of free giveaway with GH7.

It would be weird for GH to try to put the Red Hot Chili Peppers genie back into the bottle, considering all of BSSM will still be available. I'm still willing to believe that those songs are going to be updated at launch, but I guess we'll see.

While we're on RHCP, though, I'd like to see some earlier stuff from them in Rock Band. I'd love to play some of their more fun material, before they started taking themselves so seriously.

Actually, 10/26 will be RB3 DLC. The last day of pre-RB3 stuff will be 10/19.
