Yay! Well, not for 3 Doors Down, but those are the Poison songs I wanted. Mildly disappointed that Talk Dirty to Me didn't get a pro guitar upgrade too, but if I could only choose one per artist, I'd have gone for Nothin' But a Good Time too.

• 3 Doors Down – “Here Without You”
• 3 Doors Down – “When I’m Gone” X
• 3 Doors Down – “When You’re Young”
• Poison – “Nothin’ but a Good Time” X
• Poison – “Talk Dirty To Me”
• Poison – “Unskinny Bop”

Not crazy about Unskinny Bop, but I admit it was a big radio hit.
But the other two will be a great addition to my library.

I was really hoping that Every Rose Has It's Thorn was going to be included.

As much as I like the song, I just can't see it for Rock Band...

Not bad. Probably down for some Poison and maybe "When I'm Gone." Never heard the other two tracks. "Smack" by 3 Doors Down would be a blast to play, they should have done that one.

I'll pick up the Poison one, but I do wish they would have replaced Unskinny Bop with Fallen Angel. Actually, I could do with a whole greatest hits but that is the glam head in me.

"Here Without You" was a big one. I would be really surprised if you've never heard it, even in passing.

I thought the same thing until they put Bruno Mar's Grenade out as DLC. It only has about 20 seconds of guitar in it. Maybe they will do a second Poison pack down the road.

That's my guess -- they're either holding it back for another pack (if not another Poison pack than maybe an '80s power ballad pack) or for a disc release way down the road.

Ugh - fucking Unskinny Bop. Worst Poison single ever.

I put it as a tie with their cover of "Your Momma Don't Dance."

Your Momma Don't Dance is a fun song. It is a great cover. Unskinny Bop does get annoying, but it is certainly light hearted. No, the worst Poison song is "Something to Believe In". Annoying start to finish. Even more whiney than Every Rose Has Its Thorn which I just sing in Lips to annoy the heck out of my wife :).

Isn't arguing over the worst Poison single pretty similar to having a debate about what was the worst episode of "#&*$ My Dad Says"?

Just recently jumped on the deal for the Mustang on PS3. Not a big fan of pro guitar so far, don't think I have the patience. Also, strumming the strings just feels awkward and stiff, I don't see how I'd ever be able to be accurate on some of those charts.

I like playing bass more but obviously a majority of the songs don't require 6 strings, so that's a detriment as well. Racked up the pro trophies, so now I think it'll be going back, just not my thing :(

If you want to build a Rock Band song library, GoHastings.com is having a big used sale.

http://www.gohastings.com/catalog/se...siteSearchForm

Use coupon code EPICWIN for an additional 30% off.

You can get Rock Band, Lego Rock Band and Beatles Rock Band for about $3.50 each. RB2 for $4. Green Day for $6. Etc.

Considering that they're used, I'd say included codes would be hit or miss. But you can buy the download from the Rock Band store as long as you have the disc, right?

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

That's just RB1. Every game since then requires a unique code.

only for RB1, all the other require manual codes.

I thought this was changed over when they started selling things like Lego as digital downloads. My mistake. Still, $3.50 for Beatles Rock Band is awesome, if you don't have it yet.

I think that's still a sticking point with the digital downloads since there's no way to "export" the songs to the main library.

I don't follow the RB sales much, but have they had the Linkin Park bundle on sale yet?

They had Lego RB up on Games on Demand for maybe a week and then removed it, likely because of the song export thing. It hasn't been back since AFAIK. Hopefully they can get it worked out somehow.
