Holy hell. The KISS songs pretty much are the best and worst of what live tracks can be. Strutter is outstanding and energetic, and Rock and Roll All Nite sounds like Gene is about to die.

 Seems clear why that recording of R&RAN never was released ;)

It perplexes me why they chose to give R&RAN a Pro chart and not the much superior Strutter. ARGH!

R&RAN has to be a joke - those vocals are fucking terrible.

Finally dumping my RB stuff after not touching it for a year...are my LEGO: RB and RB2 worth any more since the codes have not been used?

If you find someone who wants the code (Pssst. I'll give you a five spot)

You realize you need the Lego: RB disc to even use the code for that game right?

You mean the one that's on my shelf without a code because it was washed in the washing machine because some moran threw it in his jean pocket?

I completed a personal goal and finished up my first instrument to 100% completion today.

Other Misc. Stats

GS - 1345
5S - 339
4S - 120
3S - 47
2S - 2 :( (Naked in the Rain and Closer to the Edge)

Total Stars: 9045
Leaderboard Position: 10
HOPOs: 133,563

All songs were done without no fail on. I'm almost done with guitar, but that'll never happen without turning on no fail, and I won't do that. So those 20 songs will just remain "Unplayed" until I get good enough.

You got 2 2s songs without no fail mode on?

Yup. I'm that good.

I'm going to try to bump them up into the 3's today, because they bother me.

when you play with other people, do you not keep track of scores? I find it kind of cheating, if I can't beat a song by myself, but do beat it with a band, I get creditted with a solo score.

That's why I usually play stuff solo first. I agree that if I can't beat a song by myself and log a score, it is kind've "cheating".

@RockBand
What is your single favorite album that you would like to see released in Rock Band? Let us know! #RBAlbums
Responses so far have included Ten, Doolittle, and The Colour and the Shape. Not sure if serious.

Yeah, but you have no-fail mode on...so that really doesn't count ;). Seriously though, I'll take what I can get with some songs. Besides if I really go back and beat it, my solo score should be higher than band pass thru. So it's a better challenge at that point.

On a side note, I've only been playing RB3 for a few weeks now and it still makes me laugh when I beat another bands score with just a solo (vocal) effort that happens to be on hard or expert. More vocal achievos please.

Huh? I said I play with No Fail off. I seriously got two stars on those two songs. I was in the red pretty much the whole time on them. It's weird that those songs (which aren't even devil) give me so much trouble, and I was able to pass stuff like Visions with 4 stars on my second try and Panic Attack with no problems either.

Got me a real guitar along with my squire today as the squire really has a lot of vibration because of the plastic neck I assume

Tried some pro guitar tonight. Got through the first tutorial, the second one is kicking my ass. I can't quite yet feel the strings as to which one I'm on and it's messing me up, this shit is hard.

If you haven't played guitar in the past (I hadn't), it's just a matter of getting the muscle memory down. I still occasionally move to the wrong string if I haven't played in a while. It was way way worse with the Mustang though, as there was that huge disconnect between the strings and the frets.

I will say that even though I'm still on easy, moving down the neck for a solo and hitting it (even if it is 5 notes) is extremely satisfying. It'll be doubly amazing when I get up to expert in 5-10 years.

I've actually been taking lessons for 5 or 6 months, but it has been 2 months since I've played because of my arm getting messed up. I guess it will just take some practice.

So wholly, totally, and completely in for "Working for the Weekend". Well, although I'm playing on a PS3, so that assumes I'll be allowed to play anytime soon.

I've been asking for Big Bang Baby forever, so this makes me very happy.

Now if only the PSN would come up before Tuesday so I can download it...

Phish is the worst band in the history of music. That one song already in RB3 is the bane of my existence.
