I have to have any and every Police song available so those two are no-brainers.

That's 5 of the 10 songs from "Outlandos d'Amour". What's the highest number of songs they've released from a single album without completing it? That's not counting stuff like "Dookie" where they intentionally left stuff off for gameplay reasons. "Nevermind" is missing 2 tracks (3 if you count the hidden track that isn't available on all copies, again this will probably never be available for gameplay reasons) but they obviously unofficially finished the album with live versions.

I'm probably in for three of those four (not familiar with that Ok Go track by name).

Starting to look like 4/week is going to be the norm for a while, but that's ok if they keep bringing the quality.

Totally in for those two Police tracks!

I was going to say that I can't wait to play the "Every Breath You Take" baseline on Rock Band, but then I remembered : I already have -- on the song "Won't Go Home Without You" by Maroon 5.

For some reason Every Breath You Take was the first song I learned how to play by ear on keyboards, so I'll be getting that one at least.

Are you sure that song is in Rock Band? I thought they only had "Little of Your Time," "Makes Me Wonder," and "Wake Up Call."

But I do agree that "Won't Go Home..." is, at best, a very sincere tribute to The Police! ;)

Just occurred to me that the leak of next week's DLC tracks touch on neither St. Patty's Day nor PAX East. I hate seeing missed opportunities, regardless of the regular awesomeness.

Yeah, but one could hope that over time the release schedule would start to line up once the process was well-defined. Valentine's Day was pretty themed, but that was nearly a whole month ago.

Played this last night for the first time in a long time, and we were all weirded out by an extended intro during one set. Spacehog was playing in the background, and our band waltzed onto a stage at a giant festival... we were playing with our cousin who plays a lot, and he said he'd never seen that intro before either. It was at least 20 seconds long of intro, then our song of choice started. I'm sure others have seen this - but it was new to us.
