Ah, it was probably when my account got hacked and sent those spam messages. Can't blame them for that, but now I need to get it undone...

Oh and Clapton fits the bill of what 99% of the gaming population would consider a cool surprise, but not Harmonix.

Ok, this is perfectly acceptable behavior from an newly-re-independent company

I would love some new info on Dance Central DLC.

I axed one of the hipsters at HMX about SubPop and their RBN plans... here's what he said

http://twitter.com/#!/HMXhenry/status/36135308592422912

SubPop is still on board as far as I know. I'm holding out for more Rev. Horton Heat myself. Hopefully more soon!

If anyone's looking to get the duets pack on PS3, it's not showing up in the Rock Band in-game store yet, but it IS available in the PSN Store.

Alright. I'll just get the whole fucking pack. Even if I have to have Lady Antebellum. Lady Antebellum. -ohbfrank-

So could someone please tell me why Total Eclipse of the Heart is included in a duet pack?

I mean besides the undeniable fact it's awesome, that is.

I can't imagine a reason to prefer B.o.B. over Lady Antebellum, especially in this context.

The "Turn around/bright eyes" parts are sung by a different person. Seems like a duet to me.

I like the B.o.B. song much more than the Lady Antebellum song. Funny how different people have different opinions on music. ;)

Personally, I don't consider backing vox to constitute a duet. I don't know what the technical definition is, though.

I'm willing to let it slide by on a technicality. ;)

I completely gave up arguing this point years ago when I started seeing awards shows nominate songs that were really solo recordings with "guest vocalists" in the background as though the recording was a duet or "event." If it weren't for the name recognition of those other artists, no one would consider them anything other than a regular recording. Alas, the industry has spoken and it appears that you and I are to be ignored.

The wife likes Airplanes and therefore she will volunteer to sing Airplanes. Anything that inspires the wife to play Rock Band = bonus. Lady Antebellum would just sit there on the hard drive waiting to suck for no good reason.

edit: I thought of a reason for Lady Antebellum to exist. In those Random Country Setlists, it might prevent me from playing something I hate more. I bought that Country Track Pack for Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers and Lucinda Williams and they decided to add Rascal Flatts and Kenny Chesney. Lady Antebellum > Rascal Flatts. But just barely. Unless of course Lady Antebellum isn't considered country here and HMX is trying to fuck with my logic.

Spock and Riker FTW there. Also I'm surprised they managed to get Heart into the studio for that version of Total Eclipse of the Heart.

I'd play it with you :(

My kids love Lady Antebellum and so do the ladies (Antebellum and otherwise) I've courted lately. Odds are the next few will as well.

I'm guessing those ladies will love whatever you pay them to.
