Hopefully Deathspank wins. Perfect Dark is cool and all, but I've been holding out on DS. We'll see what happens. I'll try to get my wife to grab the DLC items, if not I'll give it a go when I get home.

Yesterday when I voted, the BF stuff was ahead by about 5% over the next one. Deathspank was 7% behind.

I need the Trials HD DLC. Well, need is too strong a word; I'd like it for less. How far behind was that?

I think, at the time, it was:
DS: 18%
PD: 20%
DA: ??%
THD: ??%
BF: 25%
If memory serves, that leaves 37% split between the other two. I don't think they were in order of votes, even though it looks that way. And besides, it would be mathematically impossible (if my memory serves )

For those interested in Radiangames news, the dude just posted this on his blog today....
Even though Fluid is going well and very close to completion now, it very likely won’t be coming out next week as planned. The only major task left is doing the music, but a publisher that contacted me is looking at Fluid and a couple other concepts for possible XBLA consideration.......Regardless, I started planning out the rest of my XBLIG releases for 2010, and because of Fluid’s delay, I might end up releasing 5 games in the last 3 months of this year.

Good, I've been reviewing his games and they really stand WAY above the other stuff on XBLIG.
I think his stuff could use a LITTLE more "oomph" to move up to a full XBLA game, but good on him either way.

So the Hydrophobia review embargo is up. The game is kind of just a big ball of meh for me. I had such high hopes going in, but there is just a lot about it that is kind of tedious, clumsy, and just plain ugly. It has some good moments, but it's a lot more blah than I was hoping it was going to be.

Reasons why I'mma be broke:
Toy Soldiers (DotW) - 800 points
Toy Soldiers Invasion! DLC - 400 points
Borderlands DLC - 800 points
Comic Jumper - 1200 points
Alan Wake DLC - 560 points
Various RB tracks - 80-160 points each
And that's just what is definite.
There's still SuperMeatBoy (1200) to consider and whatever else may crop up.

Bummer about Hydrophobia. Was sorta looking forward to it. Oh well, 1200 points saved.
Will probably pick up Toy Soldiers Invasion! DLC. I haven't played the game that much, but it's really cool and that DLC sounds like fun.
There isn't any sort of rebate during this "Game Feast" promotion is there? Have they announced that Super Meat Boy was really 1200 points? Last I heard it was TBA, and it sure doesn't look like a 1200 point game.

OXM came today. They game Hydrophobia a 9.0 and seemed to really like it. They like the action and the water-dynamics (though the graphics look like ass in the clips I've found on the internet). Their only complaint was the cover system, checkpoint locations and the abrupt ending.
Joystiq felt quite differently about this game.
OXM also reviewed Comic Jumper and gave it an 8.0. They liked the style more than the gameplay, complain that the enemies take too much damage and the pace is too frantic (though they do state that most of the time the action is fantastic). One of their biggest conplaint, stated several times in the review, is that this is very mean-spirited and edgy. Still sounds fun to me, though.
They also reviewed Plants Vs Zombies (9.0), Dead Rising 2 Case Zero (8.5), Scott Pilgrim vs The World (8.5), Blade Kitten (7.0) and Shank (9.0).

I really can't think of anything worse than having 70 left over in my account.

Destructoid was also not a Hydrophobia fan
http://www.destructoid.com/review-hy...a-185087.phtml
Do you remember the awesome water effects of BioShock? Did you ever see that, and wonder what it would be like to play a game designed entirely to show those effects off, to the point where it gets in the way of the actual gameplay? Did you then want that imagined game to be one of the worst XBLA games released this year?
If so, then you are in for an absolute treat because Hydrophobia will have you covered. Covered in water. All of the time. To the point of tedium.
Score: 3.5 -- Poor

It's not so bad -- you can still get that Halo 3: ODST Laser Kill Ring I know you've been secretly eyeing for your avatar. It's only 40
