That's no biggie. I think I have one more $20 coupon here somehwere. |
Re: Playstation Move Thread
TRU is offering a $25 gift card with the purchase of a move bundle and another move controller. They are also offering a $10 gift card on move compatible launch games (Kung Fu rider, Tiger Woods, other stuff) as well sa $20 GC for Move enabled Toy Story 3.
As long as this is in the ad, I'll take it to best buy. Hope they'll do that for me. |
Re: Playstation Move Thread
Has anybodies move hardware moved into shipping soon at Amazon? I decided to pick up the another PS3 move system and analog controller for the myself (no longer have to share with the kids) and I am OCD on shipping status is killing me.

So you have to buy the Move bundle AND a Move controller in order to get a $25 gift card from TRU? That's a worse deal than Kmart's.
if I didn't have BB credit, I would easily go for the kmart deal. |
Re: Playstation Move Thread
It is very doubtful that Best Buy will match a gift card offer. I used to have success with that in the past but recently they have tightened up their butts with regards to that.

Re: Playstation Move Thread
The bundle was just added to the sony rewards site for 8,000 some odd points (jackpot price). I'm at about 5,000. I think I'll just save up for it there with Wheel of Fortune/Jeopardy/etc. points.

PS - Sony is offering 10x points with its credit card right now. |
Re: Playstation Move Thread
It appears a few people on the interwebs have been successful getting Amazon to adjust their order to "match" Kmart. "Match" meaning reducing the cost by $25 and foregoing the coupon. I just tried and was unsuccessful. The woman told me she could give me a $10 credit, I asked for the full $25, she went to get her supervisor and the supervisor said "no, we don't pm." She still gave me the $10 asking that I use it on the bundle. I told her I would use it on something related to the bundle and promptly got EyePet which was sitting in my goldbox for $10 extra off.
Praise be to Amazon. (Still gonna end up going to either Kmart or Best Buy by way of TRU to get the bundle. Although I may try my luck with Amazon one more time in the morning.) |
Re: Playstation Move Thread
Just got back from the midnight launch at GS, they had a system set up and people were trying out games from the demo disc (which comes packed with the Sports Champion bundle, and the PS3 Move System bundle) and Sports Champion. I played the ping pong from Sports Champion and was pretty amazed by the "accuracy" of the paddle when twisting your hand left and right, and doing back handed shots. I also thought that the demo for The Shoot looked pretty cool it's probably on my short list of titles, although I don't think it's out until the middle of October.

Re: Playstation Move Thread
Judging by the length of this thread I'm guessing Move isn't going to "move" off the shelves too much. :)
I may check it out when it inevitably drops in price. |

Re: Playstation Move Thread
I got the standard Move bundle at KMart this morning. Looking forward to trying it out tonight!

Re: Playstation Move Thread
Took me about three minutes, but I eventually got it -- nobody buying Move = Crickets. Ha-ha. -rolleyes-
I'll pick up a controller and EyePet at lunch. Looking forward to seeing my horrific golf swing accurately represented in video game form. |

And yeah - there's really not many people buying this, at least here on this forum. I'm trying to find a good reason to go buy this at lunch, but i'm having a hard time - even with trade credit making my net cost $0, I'm not able to justify it. |

L&O's pic isn't showing up for me on my PC or iPhone. What gives?
It sounds the controller and system itself is probably decent - just no good games to go with it. |

Sure, I'd gladly play through Heavy Rain again, but I have other things I want to play before that one...and minigames are decent enough, but long lived? Not really. I'm feeling even less enthusiastic about Kinect...that one just sounds like ass. At least Move has appeal outside of controlling my dashboard/netflix queue. |

Re: Playstation Move Thread
I just picked up the bundle, the nunchuck and an extra controller from K-Mart. I was going to pass but with the $45 in coupons I received I can buy a game next week for next to nothing.
|
Re: Playstation Move Thread
Do the controller and the nunchuck $10 coupons have the same bar code? If not, you won't be able to use them both for the same game purchase.

Re: Playstation Move Thread
Good to know. Of course I fucked it up above -- they have to have different bar codes to be used together. You figured that out though. Off to Kmart now...
