BTW, the Kmart deal WAS in print ad that I got in the mail this week. I can scan it if anyone needs it. The ad says prices are good thru the 25th.

I downloaded the Eye Pet demo, but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm sure my niece and nephew would love it. My only problem is, our real pet, a dog, kinda freaks out whenever someone gets on the floor. She always gets in our faces making sure we're okay, and then wants to play. There's no way she will stay out of the way long enough to be able to play the game much.

Then don't get it. You need clear, empty floor space. My semi-hyper four year old son bouncing around was enough to screw up the poor pet and mess up everything we were trying to do.

You could try moving a large coffee table in front of it and raise the camera to a higher position. Our dogs keep walking in the way but we've learned to deal with it.

Anyone having trouble washing their pet? I could shampoo the first time but the second time I needed to do it I could not for the life of me shampoo the little sucker.

Also, The Shoot was A LOT of fun. I expect a lot of DLC for that so I may hold off on buying the game until more of that gets established. Time to try some other ones out.

I have to mirror others. Isn't this webcam supposed to have decent video output? It is awful. Like 80's webcam awful, seriously.

Yes, it looks far worse than it does when you use it for video chat. We really do need a higher res camera to go along with our HD sets.

I'll try that.

I wanted to try TW11 this morning before the kids got up, but of course the forced update took over an hour and I ran out of time before my 4 year old boy ran down the stairs yelling "I want to play with the new Wii!".

Anyone use the move with Heavy Rain? Thought I read somewhere this would be compatible with a downloadable patch.

AFAIK it's not out yet, the last thing I read said it would be available 9/22.

Thanks....I will most likely wait and see what happens with Move. Especially with an investment of $100.00 which does not even give you a navigation controller. They should have at least included the navigation controller with the Move controller.

I think they do that because it's not necessary and you can use the dualshock controller to do all the nav stuff. I picked one up but so far haven't needed it at all except for the XMB menu. I could just use the normal controller to get there, would probably be easier.

As to the camera, day 1 I noticed a lot of graininess in the image but yesterday the image was a lot brighter and cleaner. We were working under the same lights so I don't know if it was the fact it was overcast outside or what. Need to play around with the lights more because it definitely was a better image.

Time Crisis Razing Storm showed up in my Amazon Gold Box today. Checking the preview, that is the new Time Crisis game, a Fps-like free roam mode and two other complete arcade light gun games (Time Crisis 4 and some sort of pirate shooter that's brand new). Seemed like a good deal with the $10 credit so I ordered it. Comes out in a month

Will previously purchased copies of Toy Story 3 be patched for Move? I noticed that the new copies have something about Move compatible on them but my copy I purchased a few months ago didn't have that.

I have a feeling that the Move logo wasn't finalized until after the first games got out, like Tiger Woods PGA. They may have just added the logo to a more recent print run, and the game is the same. Or is yours not working with it?

TLWizard, I thought the wand could be used for the XMB. Is that not the case?

Huh. Whaddya know. Making my Nav controller more and more pointless. I guess though it will be handy for things like RE5 and the whatnot.

Can't wait for the Sorcery game.

I like how instead of making the nav controller mandatory they give you another option if you don't want to buy it. I don't see any other companies doing that any time soon :)

Re: Playstation Move Thread

I'm really loving this. My 8 year old niece and nephew spent the night last night and we spent all morning playing demos and Sports Champions. I never should have showed them the demo for Eye Pet though. They were trying to talk me into buying it all day after that.

My nephew plays the sword fighting game in Wii Sports all the time, so he LOVED the gladiator duel. I had to keep reminding him not to just swing wildly, like he does on his Wii, and be more precise. My niece played almost all the other sports, not sure if she really had a favorite. If she did, it was probably table tennis. Their other favorite Wii game is Just Dance, so I've already told them I'm getting Singstar Dance when it comes out. Overall, they both agreed that they liked it better than their Wii, although, admittedly, a lot of that is probably the newness of it.

Needless to say, I have no regrets at all on picking this up. I'm looking forward to playing some more hardcore games with it. I will hopefully be getting TW11 soon from Goozex, and, although it's not hardcore, I already have High Velocity Bowling, so will be looking forward to that patch next week.

The Heavy Rain patch is out for move support. It's a little over a gig.

I'll download that patch tonight (why the hell we can't background-download patches I'll never understand). I look forward to trying this out (and trying out the nav controller that's still in the box at the moment).

Yes, you should. Apparently it's a lot more immersive that way. Besides it's all QTEs, so anything that makes it feel more unique is appreciated.
