Re: Official Larry C Red Dead Redemption thread!!!
I bought all of the maps but for whatever reason, that place wasn't indicated and never bothered doing the treasure hunting until now. Thus the reason why I was never on that place. Finally got it last night though
I'm really terrible at horseshoes and I even went to Youtube for the video instructions and I still can't get it. I'm also finding most of the minigames to be tedious especially blackjack. However, I love the poker one.

Re: Official Larry C Red Dead Redemption thread!!!
I was pretty bad at horseshoes for a while, but I just kept tinkering with what I was doing until I started getting close to the pin, and then I was able to get the ringer (and I haven't played again since I got it).
Speaking of trophies, Last night I was actually able to get the trophy for 3 consectutive FFA victories, and I only sort of cheated. I ended up in a FFA session with only 2 other guys. First game was a shootout I barely lost. Second game was gold rush. I barely won that one in overtime. Third game was a shootout. I won that one. One guy (who was clearly the worst of the three) dropped off during this session. Fourth game started with only 2 of us, and I had a 2 game winning streak. So this is where I cheated. I won the standoff, which put me ahead, then I hid in a building, since I knew I wouldn't appear on his map unless I was dashing or shooting. After a couple minutes of him wandering around and not being able to find me, he dropped out of the session, and my trophy popped, lol.
So now the only trophies I have remaining are the 10 assists trophy and the trophy for leveling up to 50 (I'm at 27, I think).
I'd still be more than happy to help anyone who needs the multiplayer game trophies though (and would appreciate any help with my assists, or just grinding)

Count me in. Now that I'm done with the single player (the main missions at least), if you see me playing RDR, sent me an invite and I'll join you. I still need the assists, Team and individual 3 victories in a row. The other two (How the West Was Won and Hit The Trail) are not worried about.

We need to arrange a night to do this with the four of us. It seems we're the only four hell bent on getting this Platinum.
I need both FFA trophies and the Lvl 50 (and I figure I'll just wait until the next double XP weekend before I worry about this one).
(and then I need to go back and the damn horse trophy bullshit.)

There's a song with vocals when you first get into mexico as well, but if you hopped off the horse right away to loot the bodes on the other side of the river, you could miss it.

So, after 1900+ posts of people still using spoilers to talk the big moments, I guess the statute of limitations is up now that scott is done.

It wasn't about *you*, you were just the catalyst. Why do you think every. single. thing. is about you?

Deadman's Gun is a great song as is Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie. will re-visit with the zombie DLC, but that's it for now.
