Over the last 2 days, I unloaded my 2 pre-order Golden Gun DLC codes on eBay. $12.50 for the first one and $13.07 for the second.

After eBay fees and PayPal n00b (fucking credit card losers) fees, I netted $21.93.

Not too bad at all. $59.99 - $21.93 = $38.06 for the game and $20 future credit (cuz that's how I mathify ;))

CCs charge a 4.5%ish fee and PayPal passes that on to the receiver. If you pay through a checking account, there is no such fee assessed.

So I came across a guy being held at gunpoint by the side of the road and just as I was heading over to save him I stumbled into a flower patch and just had to stop and pick some. By the time I was done they had shot him in the head so all I could do was kill the two bandits then loot everyone's dead body. Somehow I think I might have my priorities mixed up but those flowers sure was purty.

Well my game finally came in today. So what's best to just start out and do....work on riding the horse, shooting, just walking around, etc....

Also in "Free Roam"....

do you have a list of characters to choose from to be or customize?

say if you want to hook up with some friends tell them to meet at X-town or place and we can find each other?

Earlier today I posted that I'm at 12 hours and 24% complete. Well, now I'm at 14 hours and 25.5% complete. I went up just 1.5% in two hours of playing around.

I was playing Red Glitch Redemption earlier, and saw a train go by. I was far enough away from it, yet I start holding my hands over my head as if I am getting hurt. And the whole time Martson is making the "oof, ahh" sounds like he's getting hit.

Next thing I know, the train passes, and I get a black screen. So I thought I was dead.

Nope, got sent back to the dashboard or whatever the fuck you call the PS3 version :lol:

I'm close to getting the bollard twins gang outfit. My last objective "search thieve's landing"...WTF??? Does anyone know what exactly I'm supposed to do? I've been all over thieve's landing a couple of times.

I am super impressed with this game. I like to just ditch my horse and run from area to area so I can collect herbs and skins. I think that anyone who was burned by GTAIV should certainly try this game out. It is far superior. The voice acting and writing are great are awesome. It is also the first Rockstar game where I actually liked the main character.

Played allot last night and so far impressed but just a few quirks...

Still like to have a Start > Quit/Cancel > Main Menu option somewhere. I do like the instant "Campsite" though but stil...no actual 'Quit/Main Menu" function.

I got my first side quest with the woman missing her son at Hanging Rock and accepted it. But on the small map in lower right corner you don't get any real hint at direction to get started. Been nice to get something like a small arrow in there. Also don't know if it's me or what but I was expecting some "blimp/marker" to show up on the lower map when I went out and nothing. I rode all over Hanging Rock area and still no kid?

When someone approches you with "HELP" and they're not marked with a (?) on the map how do you take the mission? I had the guy approch me on horseback about saving someone from being hanged and all he did was just stand still after he spoke. Nothing came up about "follow so-and-so to save ...." I checked my my map for a marker and nothing. Few minutes later got..."Failed they died" or something like that.

Given the option of...Dead or Alive...how do actually capture them alive? I hit someone and knocked them down but they kept getting up and running off. Nothing popped up about "Hit Button To Capture" or hint what to do so I had to shoot them.

Other than that a very good open game to let you do pretty much whatever. The motion, physics and interaction are just solid. Have had a few "WOW" moments....

On first first Bounty in Armadila I was on the side of the house kneeling with the rifle and a bandit came around to hit me....his chin ended up right under the barrel and I let it off and he went literly flying. Same mission the bandits got off their horses...on the railroad tracks...a train came by and all you saw was pieces of meat flying all over.

It's a free market. You can sell whatever you want. You are not guaranteed a buyer, however. I sold both of my codes, but haven't heard back from either buyer yer if they worked but I haven't got any complaints either.
