Go to pause screen ---> Stats ---> Missions and from there you can pick any of the missions you have already completed. You can try over and over and you can get a bronze, silver, and gold ranking for each of them depending on how quickly and accurately you complete them again. I had no clue this feature was in the game.

Not being a wiseass but did you read the manual? I have no idea if it works but the manual says to hit select and invite them from there.

I did just one and got lucky. Frankly, it's really hard sometimes to read the instructions in the upper left-hand corner while the action is basically going on/starting at the same time. I wish you could read and then press A or something to begin...

Hit start then go to journal>messages. It shows all the recent dialogue and instructions shown to you.

That's pretty handy, I wish it kept it in a sorted archive (like FFXIII), instead of a rolling appender log.

I did a bounty last night that was a complete nightmare. I fairly easily shot down everyone and hog-tied my bounty. I placed him on my horse but before I could get on reinforcements arrived. I took them out and then realized one of them shot my horse dead (the wild stallion from Bonnie's horse-breaking mission - dammit). So I'm desperately trying to find another horse while taking out wave after wave of my bounty's buddies. I finally got on a horse and started my hellish ride to town. As I got close to town I was attacked again, and I must have accidentally shot either a lawman or an innocent passer-by. So now I have a bounty on my head and I'm being chased by both gang members and the law. Eventually I lost my wanted level and managed to get back to town and collect a well-earned $240 (minus $5 for paying off my own bounty). This whole thing must have went on for a half-hour at least. I love this game.

I think you have to form a posse everytime you start the MP. It's like a glorified invite to game system. I don't think they let you name them either, which is a disappointment.

Yep. The Golden Guns were a major disappointment. I wish I had the horse instead.

The Donkey was cool, I thought, but you're right about the MP. I thought it'd be this great groundbreaking thing, and it's just sub par. The glitches make it even worse.

Inviting them is a little odd imo.

You hit Back to pull up a little menu, i think you then hit right bumper to get the list of people in the game, then you hit A on a name to pop out a little menu and the first option is invite to posse.

I'm going from memory here so it is possible the "right bumper" part isn't needed.

Yeah. For the PS3 it's select, then R1, then triangle, then X. Was confusing as hell at first.

:lol: The first duel where they give you pointers I kicked ass. The next night, I had forgotten what to do. Some jagoff in the street called me out, so I went and stood in the street. Hit LT and he shot and killed me.

So on the next duel, I hit the dead eye button right before pulling the LT and smoked him. So I think all duels need to be in dead eye mode. :)

A game as big and open as this will never be rid of glitches. The funniest one I've seen so far was when doing a mission for the Marshall in Armadillo. The cut scene played, and everybody went outside to posse up. I get on my horse and look around and only the deputies are ready to go. The Marshall's horse is empty. Finally I get off of my horse and go back into the jailhouse. The Marshall is trying to walk outside, but he's about two feet to the right of the door, and keeps slamming into the wall. After laughing a bit, I was finally able to "wrangle" him outside and complete the mission.

Agreed. I've only been in 2 or 3 duels so far, but I used dead eye mode everytime and my opponents haven't had a chance to fire a single shot at me yet.

I was apparently killed by a man on horseback who had fallen into some quicksand. I couldn't see who the hell was shooting at me until I was right up on him. All that was visible was the horses head and half of the shooter's body. That guy was determined.

That's why I always lasso guys while on my horse. I ride around him in circles, so he can't get a bead on me and he's always at the center of my targeting reticle. Then I lasso him up, hold down the RT trigger, get off the horse, hogtie. No issues.

You guys have more mad skills than me. It takes me 15 minutes just to turn my horse around. Envision the "golf cart" scene from Austin Powers.

I had a glitch or bug where I was fighting someone hand to hand, and had him on the ground and he and everyone in the area just disappeared. it was very weird.

I'm fine on the horse I actually like it better that being on foot as far as control goes.

I still have to sit a read all the ins and outs of the game. I have a tendency to blow my wad and just in run and around like a fool and miss about 85% of things I can actually do.

Everytime I go for cover I pull my fucking weapons menu.

First thing I do in most games is check the options and settings. I switched the horse control to "Camera Relative" the first night and haven't had any issues.
