My only question is that do you have to play your games in order or can you play any of the scheduled series games whenever the opportunity presents itself?

Ok, I'll let you know if I will be home to play tomorrow night and around what time to see if we can set something up.

Re: Official MLB '10: The Show PS3 Online League Thread

chicubfan and I had a great game. I scored 4 in the first and he shut me down the rest of the way but I was able to hold on for a 4-3 win. He hit a couple of shots that were feet from going out. Baseball can be cruel sometimes but it was a great game. Next league we need to play a full 3 game series against each opponent as you can blaze through a game in about 45 minutes.

I have a game due against Maxflier I think and we may try for it tonight. I'm usually good to go after 8pm CST on the weeknights - possibly a bit earlier. I'll get online tonight and see who else is ready.

I forget who's running the team (GoBlue?), but I've got the Tigers for the first game. Let me know if you're game for tonight sometime.

Who was it that dropped if you can remember? We had 15 teams when we started. I wish if someone were going to drop they would message me or post here so I could try and resolve the game for the player that remains. I will see what I can do tonight to see if I can change that loss to at least a no contest if that is possible.

I'm open tonight to play. I wont be able to log in to see the schedule until after 6PM ET, so if you know we are scheduled to play, let me know and we can lock down a time.

It would be awesome if they had a website where you could log in to in order to see your schedule and upcoming opponents without having to load up the game itself.

Yup, I think Madden 10 had this feature.

Re: Official MLB '10: The Show PS3 Online League Thread

My next question is can we play our next opponent right away or do we have to wait for a time window to play? It would be nice if we could get on there and knock out two or three games with different opponents over a day or two. I'm also thinking about making the next league three game series for each one. You could really sit down and knock out those three games in less than three hours.

Like others I can't sign in to see who i'm playing till about 6, and I am free to play a game tonight. Let me know if you play the Orioles in the first week so we can get the ball rolling.

Here's the webpage for our league. Unfortunately though it doesn't look like you can view any schedule, at least not that I can find.
http://theshowcommunity.com/leagues/159102

You can look at the boxscores from the games that have been played though, which is cool.

13 and 15 hits for you guys?? Shite. That's like three games worth of output for me. I've gotta stop playing my RTTS pitcher and play some more actual games.

I haven't logged in to see who I'm playing yet but whoever you are, if you're available after 24 tonight (i'm on the east coast) I could play then.

From my limited experience with playing against humans online (played a few games with dsa_shea the other night), it's a much different experience than playing against the computer. I still lost like I always do, but I didn't strike out 657 times in a game like I do against the computer and I was actually able to get some consistent hits and score some runs. Still couldn't keep pace with dsa_shea's scoring though, he lit Halladay up pretty good whereas the computer is usually lucky to score 2 runs off him when he pitches for me.

It's me. Is tomorrow good? I have to do something tonight, and I don't know how long it's going to take.

Wow, box score says you each left 39 men on base and there were only 3 K's total. I'm preparing myself for a beat-down game 1.

Sauce, I believe I'm playing the Orioles. Let me know what time to be on tonight. I've already added you on the show buddy list.

If everything goes right at work I will be available to play at 10pm CST. Is that too late?
