Can somebody explain how this works, never done a online league before. Do we have a set time where we have to play or do we just have to play in a certain timeframe?

I'm thinking that must be a taboo question or something. It has been asked at least twice already (once by myself) and never been addressed.

I'm not sure of the answer because I've never played a league before but I'm sure that it gives you adequate time to play your games with the others you have games scheduled with. I will tinker around with this soon but I'm trying to get my daughter's real baseball team together as I have been handed the head coaching duties just days before her league starts.

I do not have a mic right now, but could be persuaded to get one if everyone thinks it would be beneficial.

I just use a POS bluetooth... with the right settings it works pretty well.

What is your psn name and team? I didn't kick anyone out unless they requested to be "dismissed".

Does anyone know if it's possible to choose the stadium for online league games? There is a bug with Tropicana Field where the game will freeze if you press select after accessing the bullpen, and they haven't fixed it yet. I think it would be best to avoid TF altogether, so I would like to keep the Rays but play in a different "home" field. If I can't do it, I'll have to choose another team.

When you play someone online can they hear your custom recorded crowd chants?

me and a few friends tried to do a league a few weeks ago (that failed terribly) but they do give you a timeframe of 72 hours to complete 3 games. Im not sure if thats a default or if you are able to customize it once the league is created.

You can customize it. You choose whether you want round-robin (essentially one division) or 2 divisions, then the number of games in each series, and then the time to complete the series (1,3,5,or 7 days). If you choose RR, you play one series for every other team, while if you choose divisions, you can set it so that you play more games against your divisional rivals. For example, if you just wanted to do one game per week, you'd make the series one game each, with a series duration of 7 days. Also, you choose whether you want 2 or 4 playoff teams.

It sounds like your league chose 3 games per series, with 3 days to complete each series.

Anybody interested in participating in a fantasy baseball league in conjunction with our Show league? My longstanding league disbanded this past year and I'm currently without a fantasy league. I just want to find a group of guys that want to actually participate throughout the season and do a live draft. It's short notice but I didn't realize how much I was going to miss the prep and draft.

We could put money in or not... I could go either way, but the buy-in fee (and potential for reward) at the very least holds people's interest throughout the season.

Re: Our Show league, I think one game per week is probably about the max we can handle since it seemed like many of us were on the fence about the weekly demands. My schedule's odd due to the baby in the house so there are probably some people I've never going to be able to catch online.
