I have no interest in the Clone Wars. Still, the Lego Games are fun so I might pick this up from the bargain bin.

Part of the charm of the Lego games, to me, is the familiar.
I'm not familiar with TCW and I expect this will be all new ground like Batman was. While that's ok for Batman, I don't think I care enough for the EU of Star Wars to bother.
I'd rather they announce Lego LotR.

Lego Harry Potter should be fun, but it will be a few years before they release a years 1-7 complete game or the rest of the years the first one doesn't cover.
Lego LotR would be fun as well.
I like the Lego games and they are simple little time wasters that you can play in short sessions or sit down to a longer session and still have fun.

You mean driving a second one?
Star wars has been beaten into the ground for years and years.
There's like what? 3 or 4 good star wars games period?
KOTOR, Rogue Squadron, Xwing-Tie fighter, and battlefront was ok, but still not very good.

I recently watched the first season and while the production values are unrivaled I can't bring myself to care about the time period. Give me a post Jedi animated show in the same vein and I'd be all over it.
Needless to say, like everyone else, this would be good bargain bin fodder.

Yeah, I'd love a Lego LOTR. You can just imagine how the different characters would play (hobbits being small, elves being light and maybe jumping higher, wizards having the magic abilities, etc.).
I'm kind of surprised we haven't seen Lego Pirates of the Caribbean. Maybe next year when the new movie is released?

I'll pick it up when it goes cheap. I'm still waiting for Lego Indy 2 to hit clearance prices.

I would love a Lego James Bond series. There are enough films and more than enough memorable set pieces to carry it through several games. Sure they would have to do away with the sex and the stronger violence, but that could be done creatively.

Lego Rock Band excepted, you won't see any Lego games based on licenses they're not already making actual Lego toys for, and they won't be making Lego toys for James Bond or Lord of the Rings anytime soon. But yeah, they would make for great games.

Harry Potter is actually a very wide and popular LEGO series.

And they're also doing Toy Story stuff now too. I think a Lego Toy Story trilogy game would be unbelievably awesome. I'm holding my breath.
