Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - Fall 2010

Lego Toy Story Trilogy would be phenomenal. I hope that the Toy Story 3 game (as solid as it's supposed to be) hasn't hurt the chances of a Lego game at all.

I still hope for a Pixar world in Kingdom Hearts 3. I'd be all over any LEGO title in the same vein.

They also have Prince of Persia sets out there now. I'm betting those won't be around much longer.

I don't know what it is, but I've always had a hard time getting into the Lego Games. I don't think they're bad by any means (apart from Lego Harry Potter, which was mediocre and annoying) but they just don't charm me like they do with most people. The gameplay is simple and somewhat repetitive, but it does have its moments and I give them credit for being unique.
I used to buy them thinking that I'd love them and would eventually be charmed. However, I don't plan to buy this one. I'll probably rent it if I hear good things, especially to review it myself.

I have Lego Indy, Star Wars and Batman and they were all pretty fun to play. I'll probably pick up Lego Harry Potter when it gets down to around $20.
Clone Wars sounds pretty fun too, but again, I always wait until they come down in price.
Lego Pirates I'm not sure about. Could be cool. Will have to see.
Lego LotR would be badass!

It's also available on the PSN store. It's pretty fun and looks considerably better than previous Lego Star Wars games.

Anyone else playing this? Bought it on Tuesday. My son and I are digging it so far (only 8% into it).
Best looking and most epic-feeling of the series. Not loving the map-less spaceship that serves as the hub. I do like the exploration aspect (something that was missing in the previous installment's cantina), but gets super tedious walking through level after level looking for things to buy and characters to unlock.

I'll say this, they upped the difficulty of the game a bit this time around. Some of the minikits are very well hidden, and one of them is very very creative.
I was able to complete the game to 100% and get all the trophies in 4 days. But really there's a lot of stuff to uncover, and it's a lot of fun as well. But there is just a bit too much repetition with the added missions after you beat all the story ones.
I was worried they were going to fall off after the poorly designed Indy 2, but Harry Potter and Clone Wars have both been pretty good. Hopefully Pirates keeps the streak going.

The 3DS version is great. 13 missions in that one, but all are relatively long. I've only played through 5 so far.
One thing that pissed me off, I encountered a glitch during one of the Grievous fights. You're supposed to use one of the clone's grappling guns to shoot Grievous. Well whenever I tried to shoot it, nothing would come out of the end of the gun. WTF I played that section for like 15 minutes before finally restarting the level.
