Re: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - Fall 2010
This is great... but I'd really like to see Battlefront III ilo all the Lego stuff.

Re: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - Fall 2010
...and I'm officially unplugged from the Star Wars universe.
|
Re: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - Fall 2010
 I have no interest in the Clone Wars. Still, the Lego Games are fun so I might pick this up from the bargain bin.

Re: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - Fall 2010
Part of the charm of the Lego games, to me, is the familiar.
I'm not familiar with TCW and I expect this will be all new ground like Batman was. While that's ok for Batman, I don't think I care enough for the EU of Star Wars to bother. I'd rather they announce Lego LotR. |

Lego LotR would be fun as well. I like the Lego games and they are simple little time wasters that you can play in short sessions or sit down to a longer session and still have fun. |

 I like the Clone Wars universe

Driving two gaming licences into the ground simultaneously.

Star wars has been beaten into the ground for years and years. There's like what? 3 or 4 good star wars games period? KOTOR, Rogue Squadron, Xwing-Tie fighter, and battlefront was ok, but still not very good. |

Trailer
More of a teaser, new footage starts about halfway in, and there's not very much of it. But the main reason for the bump is that this has been delayed to 2011 now. Amazon shows February. http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/4...6re1qc9d2v.jpg |

Re: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - Fall 2010
Yeah, I'd love a Lego LOTR. You can just imagine how the different characters would play (hobbits being small, elves being light and maybe jumping higher, wizards having the magic abilities, etc.).
I'm kind of surprised we haven't seen Lego Pirates of the Caribbean. Maybe next year when the new movie is released? |

I'll pick it up when it goes cheap. I'm still waiting for Lego Indy 2 to hit clearance prices.

Re: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - Fall 2010
I would love a Lego James Bond series. There are enough films and more than enough memorable set pieces to carry it through several games. Sure they would have to do away with the sex and the stronger violence, but that could be done creatively.

Re: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - Fall 2010
Lego Rock Band excepted, you won't see any Lego games based on licenses they're not already making actual Lego toys for, and they won't be making Lego toys for James Bond or Lord of the Rings anytime soon. But yeah, they would make for great games.

They make Harry Potter and Batman LEGO sets?
Harry Potter is actually a very wide and popular LEGO series. More helpful link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lego#Licensed_themes |

Hmm... I've been buying LEGO for a couple years for my kids and never once seen either of those properties.

The Harry Potter and Batman stuff is 4-5 yrs old, got to bricklink.com and explore they have a store, sometimes you find better deals there than ebay.

Re: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - Fall 2010
And they're also doing Toy Story stuff now too. I think a Lego Toy Story trilogy game would be unbelievably awesome. I'm holding my breath.
