it depends - usually about half of the team does. it works well for calling for medics. also while you are down and waiting for a revive, you can pan the camera and see enemies approaching or camping on your body. most players i've played with have been pretty good about giving out useful tactical information.

Work has been crazy recently and it's tough with two roommates who wanted dibs on 1 vs 100 on Tuesdays and Lost as well. I should be there this Tuesday though.
Need to get some MAG time in as well, rank up a bit.

so i am now almost up to level 12 and have ventured out into the sabotage maps. this game is quite addictive. when you play on a squad or platoon with an organized leader, you can easily overrun less organized groups. i like the perk/upgrade system as well - it really is like crack. i recommend upgrading to the medical kit as quickly as you can so that you can revive downed teammates. the XP for reviving someone on your side is 10 XP compared to 5 XP for killing a member of the opposition.
if anyone here is in valor, hit me up for an invite. my psn name is the same as my forum name - kms_md.

love this game when you play with a good team or work together and have medics on the team. the game is a blast, but any word if they are gonna support this game with DLC or anything?

Thinking about giving MAG a whirl since I can't find a consistent group to play BFBC2 and a couple of my coworkers rave about it. So are alot of people still playing this or what?

I gave up on it months ago. I'm still going strong with BFBC2 but it better come up with some new maps soon because that's starting to get old too.

i gave up on it about a month ago. the community was really beginning to shrink. zipper dropped the ball with the paltry support they gave this game following launch.

Playing and enjoying the game now. I just started before the big updates. Just made a new character last night and was shocked to see I start with Zero CP. I got up to about level 9 and still have not made enough to get the med kit. I know you get the majority of your money by winning pins and ribbons but with the starting weapons and equipment, that is not easy at all.

Are there still a lot of people online? I was a big fan of this game when it came out.

Re: MAG - is anyone playing this?
I would say there is a decent amount of folks playing. The larger team games can have a few minute wait to build the teams but the small games are pretty quick.
I do notice an annoying habit of Valor team holding down the fire trigger on spawn for some really odd reason. I was first thinking it was a waste of ammo until realizing that if they play like that, they probably never run out of ammo before next spawn. ;-)

Re: MAG - is anyone playing this?
i may try this with the move to hit the new level cap of 70. i hit level 60 with my valor character and got the 2000 kills trophy before i moved on. i have not investigated the skill trees since the update to 2.0.y
also, it is 2010. zipper should give us the option of SWITCHING THE R1/R2 AND L1/L2 buttons. i takes me several games to get used to using the bumpers as triggers. besides, i have a controller (one of the best buy brands) that is shaped like a 360 controller (i happen to prefer to 360's form factor). it is completely useless if the bumpers are to be used as triggers.
