If you've done it once, I'm sure it's that much easier for the 2nd, 3rd, etc. Heck, why stop at 7?

Will probably not be able to play, or, until 11pm EDT at earliest.

I thought it was funny since we were going side to side around the artillery and he suddenly went for the cliff. Classic Slider - I just lost it.

Classic cat and mouse until the cat decides that the mouse still tastes like garbage anyway and goes skydiving... without a parachute. That WAS hilarious.

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

What did you guys think of the games last night?
I think Goldmember was a hit once again
Zombies was fun but could be tweeked a little
Sliders sniper match on Rundown was okay with 5 people, would've been much better with more bodies.

Shumway - How was our language? I know at first we had a few problems (and by "we" I mean me), but it seemed to slow down after a round or two. For the most part it wasn't hardcore cussing, more like bitch and damn with a few shits sprinkled in.

Also, how did he enjoy the game? Did he have fun with all the different rules, or was it more of a nuisance for him?

Language was great overall. Thank you guys for your consideration. Also, he REALLY enjoyed playing. I told him we'll make it a regular Thursday night event. He is thrilled. It took a bit for him to get used to the changes, but, once I explained any confusion on his part it was fine.

I think I'm going to bust out my other unused BT headset and let him have a go on that next week. We'll see what he has to say himself, lol.

Yeah, it was to watch some True Blood with the wife who is usually only good for one episode before going to bed which would have given me plenty of time to hop on with you guys, however I had been working crazy hours this last week and she really wanted to watch another one so I couldn't back out on that one. After it was over it ended up being almost midnight and I had to be in to work at 8 and you guys usually shut it down around then so I just went to bed. Oh well

I used to shut it down around 12:30, but i'm letting it go closer to 1 now. Anybody got any interest in trying to start the game around 9:30?

I think zombies should not be allowed to sprint.
Somebody pointed out on the Rust match that it was more fun since we were defending a position. It occured to me that on the larger maps you could do one of two things if you could change teams on an objective based game:

1) make the game mode Headquarters Pro - victims have to take and defend a position and then move as a team to the next position.
2) make it Sabotage and agree not to destroy the bomb site.

Zombies then know the general area where victims are and don't have to sprint around looking for victims thus speeding up gameplay. Once everyone is dead then the host needs to end the game to keep from causing too much confusion

The headquarters game sounds fun, but I think it would be too easy for a zombie to stab people as they head to the next headquarter. We could always set up a designated place for the survivors to camp out for each map, and they could just hold up there and see how long they survive.

I think the Zombies have to run to make up for not having a gun. (and please, this is the era of 28 Days Later, Not Dawn of the Dead).

- No The Office right now (wife and I watch together on Thursday) so I'm OK with that.

I like the idea of the Sabatage (or demolition, I can never remember which one has only one bomb site for each side)...the survivors are protecting something the zombies wants and we try to keep them away...if they get close enough we run and try to pick them off before they plant the bomb. as the survivors protect the bomb site, they slowly get turned one by one to zombies and the match ends when either the zombies plant the bomb and it explodes, everyone is a zombie, or the survivors have successfully defended the food crate, or what ever we want to call it...

the survivors never even go for the bomb, they just guard the site...maybe it won't work, but this way everyone is gatherd at site and the zombies are swarming it "looking for brains"

The only potential problem with that is when the zombie gets the bomb and gets close to the survivors' crate, they kill him, then they have to be careful not to accidentally pick up the bomb laying right next to them. If they do, that person would have to commit suicide or voluntarily get killed so the zombies could have the bomb back.

then scavenger + cooked grenedes lead to hilarity and fair play!
but then we would have to decide if that then makes them a Zombie
