Re: CoD:MW2 Online League (PlayStation 3)
I should be able to. I have to watch Moon and take it back in the morning, but I should be done watching it before 11 CST. Not sure how late I can stay up though, got to be up pretty early. I got a shipping estimate for my mic and it says I should receive it on the 19th!
I think we can master the two air support missions, and the one where we're held up in the gas station pretty quickly tonight. The trick with the air craft one is to move forward, trigger the enemies, and then hide in a building back behind the triggering point. That way we're not running into an ambush. I figured that out the last time we played, if I ran into a field to trigger the next wave, and then ran backwards and hid in a cellar, you were able to clear them out before I actually moved forward. The only problem with that method is beating the clock.

Re: CoD:MW2 Online League (PlayStation 3)
I can do either one, it doesn't really matter. I think I'm better in the air on the daylight mission in the chopper gunner than I am on the night level in the AC130. It's all circumstance though, sometimes i can do good in one and bad on the ground, so we'll just try it one way and if we can't get it we'll switch it up.

Re: CoD:MW2 Online League (PlayStation 3)
Digi, we kicked some ass last night. Sorry for abandoning you for the first few minutes of that gas station mission, I had to throw some laundry in the dryer and thought I would be back in time. The Estate mission is hard, but rushing to the house and taking everybody out from the higher level is a good strategy I think. One of us watches the stairs (for Juggernauts) and the other snipes from those two rooms. Eventually we'll get them. We rocked that AC130 one, too. I only need one more star to unlock the other set of missions!
Anybody else have anything to say as to a day we can set up for weekly matches? So far we're sitting at Monday or Wednesday at 9/8central

I agree on the Estate one although at some point it seems were are going to have to leave the house to hunt down the last 15 or so.
BTW, I have unlocked the Echo missions and there are 3 and they all are about just killing juggernauts and one is even where you have to kill 15 of them with just explosives and your knife! Cant wait for that one.

Let me know when you want to hop on next to finish up the estate and snatch and grab.

I should be on tonight if you're down for it. It might be a half an hour later than yesterday, I just signed up for Netflix again and I want to watch Friday Night Lights from their Instant Streaming before it disappears, but I'll definitely be on MW2 around 11:30 your time. If you can't tonight, no big deal, I'll throw down some TDMs or something. Let me know if you're available.

Hey guys, I recently picked this up for the PS3 but have yet to play so I'm not leveled up at all... but I'm at level 65 for the Xbox and know my way around the maps. So please add me to your friends list and hopefully I'll see you online.

I don't know what happened in that last mission, Digi. One second I'm sniping and the next I'm getting a message about losing the connection for over 3 seconds and the only option was to exit.
I had a good feeling about the round, too. We dominated that Estate map, which was fun, but those Juggernaut levels are going to be hell. I can only kill them with a sniper rifle, I don't know how we're going to pull them off.
Welcome Rob, I'll send you a friend invite tomorrow.

I played a few rounds of FFA last night and leveled up to 4
I can finally setup my own loadout which should help a bit.
Let me tell you what a pain in the arse it is to play this game without any perks or weapon attachments. The only game I could get 15+ kills on was FFA.

I'm up for playing. I have a horrible K/D ratio, but I mostly play Domination and HQ Pro. I am always going for capture points. I'm also, almost always, the resident harrier/chopper destroyer. Amazing that most people either don't have or want to switch to a heavy gunner type class to take out those air born threats.
Level 52 at the moment.
I play almost nightly, usually after 8 or 9pm central time.

Right now the weekly game is setup for Wednesdays at 9 PM EST, 8 PM CST and it will remain then unless we receive strong opposition. I don't mind switching the date and time, just thus far I haven't gotten many suggestions for or against Wednesdays at 8/9PM. If anybody has a problem, post it here but as it stands now that is when I'll be online setting up the server.

I didn't notice any... but the Xbox does have it's share from time to time. You'll get those games where it stutters for a few seconds and then boots you (usually when I'm on a major killstreak)

Chew, I don't think there is any weapons training, but if you get the game we can always log into a private match and practice a little bit.

I hope this time is good for you. I'm a bit weary of making it much later. Right now we stand at 9:00 Eastern time, and I don't want to make it too late for people who have work or school in the morning. Would it be better if we made it a different day? I don't think we'll do much Domination or Headquarters off the bat, I think we'll stick with TDM and DM for the time being because a lot of the players are new and I don't want to open too many dimensions right away.

Re: CoD:MW2 Online League (PlayStation 3)
The best thing to do if you want practice is to just hop into the single player or spec op modes on the lowest difficulty. Hang back, once you've played for a bit it'll come to you instinctively for the most part. A lot of the people here are new to the multiplayer, so we'll all be learning together. Like I said, after you get the game, shoot me a PM and we'll knock out some 1 on 1 and try to get you familiar with it all.

The way they describe the map it sounds like you can use a knife on a juggernaut as long as you get them to put their head down, but that never seemed to work for me. I think once we can figure out a strategy then it shouldn't be too hard as long as we can draw one out at a time. Really need mics though for that one to discuss strategy as it seemed like we were both trying different conflicting things most of the time(ie I would go try to knife him and then you would lodge a rocket in the back of my skull
) That looks like it will be a fun map to try to beat though, although I imagine I will be pretty pissed when we get to the 10th guy and die.I will probably hop on again tonight at the usual time if you want to go at it again

Would anybody object to us moving the day from Wednesday to Thursday? I'm up for that. Also, I added some little information to the OP for newcomers. Stuff like what perks do what, and detailed lay outs of all the maps. So check them out if you're not sure what you're doing.
